..no "Wreck and rule!" makes me a sad NGW.
your not the only one
Where was the "Bring the rain", or did I miss that?
The people behind the movies don't care about pre-existing mythos. I'm sure they just grabbed the name of whatever group was popular at the time and slapped it on.
I yelled out the "Wreck 'n Rule" line for them in my theatre after Optimus told them what to do.
wish they could have said it
So you're a yeller? ..........ugh.
Since there was no real military support in the invasion to "Bring the rain," I guess that's probably why it wasn't used.
Seeing as the movie Wreckers are engineers, and not commandos, the line would not make a lot of sense.
I really missed an exchange from the comics, of all things.
Sentinel: Megatron? What are you doing here?
Megatron: It is LORD Megatron to YOU! (kicks ass)
This. I was very disappointed by all the poor dialogue compared to the adaptations.
You know what I wanted to hear?
"What your planet needs is more playgrounds."
Dude, me too. Especially with those heavy Scottish accents they had. It would have been pretty badass.
Yes, totally. I haven't read the novelization, but just reading about that scene made me want to see it in the film.
Optimus "Autobots transform and roll out"
Soundwave "Bumblebee inferior, Soundwave superior" it would be like Soundwave putting his foot in his mouth, or he could have said "Que inferior, Soundwave superior"
I probably would have squeed like a little girl if they had said "Wreck 'N Rule."
"Wheelie's my name! Wanna play a game?"
...No? Just me?
"Til all are one........
While I was bummed about no "Wreck and Rule", I was even more let down by no "Over, finished", "reap the whirlwind", "what are you playing at?", or "Can I do less?".
Separate names with a comma.
