Yikes. I'd regretted missing out on the black/red Soldier 9 previously, but now maybe it's a good thing I did.

 

I only owned one pair of LeBron's, they looked sick but felt like shit. Needless to say, I didn't own em for long.

 

I guess that's why I never see anyone wearing LBJs casually or balling.

Actually, I see kids wearing em a lot. My son plays AAU and a lotta kids wear em. Me personally, I couldn't do it.

The Banned 1 was a grail, so I'm thrilled to own one now. The Trophy Room 16, for a limited shoe, has thankfully been not absurdly priced after selling out plus is a darker blue than its promo pics made it out to be.

 

i was never a fan of the 16 design, but i like that shade of blue

 

Anyone have a guess as to what the Nike Mystery Drop on SNKRS is gonna be?

 

I didn't like the blue in the promo pics, but once in-hand pics started getting out, the shade of blue won me over once I saw what it actually looked like. Much better looking shoe in-hand.

I think it's been known the Kyrie 3s were coming out right after Christmas, so I doubt that's it. I've seen some mention the LeBron 14s (he's been wearing them in practice but no full reveal yet, Cavs play on Christmas so it'd be a perfect double-reveal), Wool 11s (we've seen them, but no idea about a release yet), or Space Jam 2s (is that the only shoe from the movie not retroed yet this year?).

I'd love to see the Wool 11s or Red Suede 12s that've been shown off, as long as I can snag a pair, of course.

 

If it's the LeBron it will be a huge letdown for me.

If it's the MAG, I'm gonna to pee my pants.  

 

Jordan XVIs are on SNKRS. $250 is hard to swallow.

Yeah, I think I'd rather spend $190 on the IXs instead.

For now, I keep everything in their boxes (only non-MP/Tamashii boxes I keep lol) and store them under my bed. I'd like to get a better storage method going but lack room. I might be able to clear out room in my closest for some plastic bins, but we'll see.

I ended up taking a more circuitous route to procure these than I thought I would, but finally, they're mine.

 

I gave up and just got the XXI Space Jam.

In the short span of less than a month, I've picked up 10 pairs of shoes.

 

Yeah my collection has shot up in the past few months. I have 10 pairs, I'm eyeing another dozen or so, and I'm going after at least 4-5 new pairs already in '17.

I'm glad third party stuff still doesn't sell out quickly; a lot of funds that would've been used on third party toys are going to shoes without really costing me anything. I've only missed out on PlX Grimlock & MMC Turmoil, among stuff I wanted that actually sold out/became harder to find this year. I'm not really costing myself much while diversifying where my money goes.

 

I got a line of Chinese New Year releases happening soon that's going to destroy my funds.
