Realized we didn't have an officially bookmarked thread for this. As the title says, this will be the official recommend a 3DS game thread.

This probably went under everybody's radar, but the e-Shop game Pushmo is quite a fantastic puzzle game. The gameplay uses the system's 3D capabilities to good effect by making it easier to tell what you are doing in the game. In addition to the levels that come with the game, the game allows for user created levels which are sharable via QR codes. Fantastic game!

But Ravage mentioned it in the second post...

And I really do need to get that game. Next time I get a points card, Pushmo and Link's Awakening (if you haven't played that yet, for the love of everything get it) will be mine.

Pushmo is the most fun you can have for 8 bucks. I would have bought it for 40 looking back and still felt I got a good deal.

So I just downloaded Sakura Samurai. I would definitely recommend this to any fan of the Punch-Out!! series. The save system is a bit odd and the story is a bit short, but the graphics are great and the gameplay is fun. Afterwards you can play each stage again, go through a match of 30, 50, or even more enemies, and you can dedicate steps taken on your 3DS to a "rock garden" (It doesn't take steps or play coins away from your system). For seven dollars, I'd recommend downloading this game ASAP.

I highly recommend giving Resident Evil Revelations a try. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Circle Pad Pro/Plus/meep makes the game even better and makes me want to see more games use it. I hope we get Monster Hunter TriG because the additional control options rock.

I highly recommend Cave Story 3D. Amazing is that it's the final evolution of a game built by one guy over a period of five years starting in 1999. It's truly epic. A nice mix of platforming and shooting and a bit Megaman and a bit Metroidvania. You have to play it to truly get it though.

I also recently began playing Mighty Switch Force, which is also awesome. You should also give a shot to its spiritual predecessor, Mightly Flip Champs which is DSiWare.

Ocarina of Time 3D and Starfox 64 3D are musts of course.

Ahem, an oldie but awesome, Four Swords. Get that. Also, Swap Note, no you can send a 2D drawing of a curled up poopy in 3D.
