Scoring 40+ points presented one problem in that game, which was giving the ball back to the best college QB in the nation.

Wow, talk about defense leads to championships. The two best teams in the nation only scored a combined 15 points total, all on field goals.

How is it likely? What path does Alabama have to the NT game now?

I don't want to see a rematch. That game was a snoozefest.

That was a horrible game to watch last night.Obviously two great defenses, but neither team has crap for a quarterback. So boring.

I wish I would've watched the whole Oklahoma St./Kansas St. game instead.I flipped it on after waking up from the Bama/LSU game in time to see the last half of the fourth quarter. Now that was a good game.

I do believe Arkansas presents a problem, but I think that if they struggled with Bama's defense, they'll have a harder time with ours.

Oklahoma St. loses to Oklahoma in the last game of the season. Stanford loses to Oregon next weekend. With Alabama most likely sitting at four in the new BCS poll, they'd move up to two. And if LSU wins out and plays Georgia in the SEC Championship, it'll be a blowout win for them, and we're back at a rematch for the national championship.

BCS predictions has us at 3, stanford at 4. Believe it or not, I don't want a rematch. We had our chance, at home, and Saban got outcoached by Miles. Our Defense is still scary good, but our Offensive play calling was atrocious. Not to mention our kicking game, which I always felt was going to cost us a game and it did. Saban needs to quit trying to prove a point and punt the ball. The bullshit interception call inside the 1 was dead wrong, but still we had multiple opportunities to score last night and didnt. Our Defense outplayed LSU's, but their special teams outplayed ours.

And it certainly wasn't a boring game. It was all defense.

I dunno lol! I don't understand how bad offenses=good defense. Honestly, some of those INT's were thrown right to the defender. :lol

Bama just laid an egg last night and probably SHOULD have won the game. Looking back, how many FG's did they miss?

At this point in time, I think the BCS match-ups are going to be HORRIBLE. If Oklahoma St gets in, forget about it... those guys are going to get crushed.:lol

ESPN had Bama at 5th in the BCS predictions when I was watching Sportscenter this morning

    1. LSU
    2. OSU
    3. Stanford
    4. Boise
    5. Alabama

4 if you count the one that was blocked.

2 in the first quarter, 1 in the second (the blocked one), and then the one in Overtime

I agree. Don't get how people can say it was a boring game. It reminded me of Steelers/Ravens. Also, that interception call was correct. The receiver bobbled the ball, which was when the defender took it away.

Bama was cocky as hell in them. Pissed me off.

LSU made clutch plays....Bama didn't. Its really that simple. Yeah Bama had more opportunities to kick field goals but they didn't make them. Championship level teams make those kicks. Bama didn't and they lost. LSU made their kicks so they won.

9-6 is a boring game. I don't care how many missed opportunities there were, or turnovers. I like to see SCORING. The kind with TOUCHDOWNS.

Ravens-Steelers just doesn't do anything for me. GB-SD should be fun today.

KST-OSU was far more entertaining last night.

I find the lack of love for defensive football games astounding. How can you love football and not love defense?

The only thing that can save Boise St. is if Georgia gets to the SEC Championship, which is likely. Even then it just gets them most likely in the Sugar Bowl.

Anybody been paying attention to this Penn St. story? I haven't really until today when I was listening about it on the radio. Just horrific.

I was reading about the allegations and had to stop. Couldn't make it all the way through. Couldn't stomach it.
