I may wait and just get this for Christmas along with Assassins Creed II. Only thing I'll buy this month(ish) is COD:MW2

Well shit, I already traded all of my "tradable" stuff for ODST. I didn't know this game was coming out next week. :cry

I don't mind the gore, but Rattrap007, THANK YOU. You have moved this firmly from the "buy sometime in the indeterminate future" up to "put near the top of my Christmas list" because of that info.

try the demo. It has that option.

"This game has vulgar language select one of the following:

I don't mind the foul language.

It is funnier when it is bleeped"

The violence is outlandish for the most part. The opening part the giant beast gives a massive scream that makes some wussy rock band's heads fly off. Also the axe makes nice explosions of blood when you kill someone. It is more comical than repulsive.

Yeah, I don't mind off-the-wall gore, I mean I watch Metalocalypse, heheh. I just have a thing about the f-bomb.

Anyways, tried the demo, I agree that it's quite fun. I particularly loved running over tons of people in that hot rod. It didn't have any parts where you control a bunch of people, which I'm the most curious about, but other than that I can't see how I'd possibly dislike this game.

Okay, I know it was on a prerecorded message, but, how awesome was it to get home last night and hear Jack Black on the voicemail telling you that Brutal Legend was going to be ready for pick up today!

Buying this tonight. I bought Uncharted last night and there was a coupon for 2 game trade ins for Brutal and get it for 20 bucks. I'm definitely getting this tonight.

Yup, but even if they hadn't. The Demo convinced me that I am getting this. It will sit there while I beat U2, but it's next, and it will be a grand and fucking-rocking journey.

This game kicks all manner of fucking ass. Been splitting time between this and Uncharted. Eddie is Jack, and Jack is Eddie. This game was made for him, and travelling around this world in your car is nothing short of sweet. Rock of Ages!

I got this and U2 at the same time and this game won the coin toss so I've been playing this since I got it. I can't say I'm too far in, I often find myself just jumping in the Deuce, letting the radio blare and gunning it down the road running over anything and everything in my way. The RTS fights can be hectic and hard to control, but being able to enter the fray with a flaming Knee Slide then melt faces with an awesome guitar solo (literally) can easily turn a fight in my favor. Sidequests can be a little repetitive, but you'll find that in any sandbox style, open world game. But so far it's a totally kick ass ride and it's only getting better.

And Ozzy freaking rocks in this game.

The RTS parts are you just commanding a squad of headbangers. You can still do normal attacks but you are also giving orders to your minions with the D pad. Definitely not one of the "bad things" you speak of.

No, but be aware, Smang, that this is the bulk of the game. That's not a bad thing, but you should definitely know this, if that's not your type of game.

It's not point and click RTS though. It's like Ratchet and Clank's Clank levels with the little robots. Your digital pad assigns orders and they follow those orders, but you participate in the battle too.
