    There's no way they would take a team out of a hockey market that can actually support them and put them in a city where hockey will be in 5th place behind Football, Baseball, Soccer and College Football. You can throw it in 6th place if they get an NBA franchise before an NHL one.

    Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a team in Seattle, because it would be great to have some competition for the Canucks only 2 hours away, but they should be moving one of the many franchises that are bleeding money.

    They lost already their basketball team and people care less and less about the Mariners. Do you really think they would care about hockey?

    They said the NHLPA and the owners will resume discussions this Friday.

    Yeah, nobody's bothered to make a new one since there's no '12-'13 season so far. We just kind of rolled all the lockout stuff into this one as a sort of continuation of the '11-'12 off-season. I don't think anybody minds either way. You could make a new thread and we'd probably be happy to move any discussion there.

    Edit: actually, I think there is a new thread somewhere, I just never subscribed to it.
