I miss Hank and his crazy chicken dance. I hope that this year's draft is the beginning of dominance by the Niners. I don't like Smith but I am sure if the OLine and the D are good enough he'll still be able to win a SB as a starting QB.

The issue I have with the 49ers at this point is at the QB position. To win a SB, you have to be able to score points out of the passing game. Singletary wants to line up and be physical and run the football down the other team's throat. That's fine during the regular season, but that usually doesn't win championships.

another Draft inthe books and by far Jacksonville wins the WTF were they thinking award! Horrible job of drafting . I honestly expected them to grab Tebow if he was available and they passed on him.

fortunately Im a Vikings Fan and they had a good draft. not awesome but they got players to fill roles they needed help at.

The Ravens were able to do exactly that.

Yeah but the Ravens D was also one of the best that the league has ever seen. The Niners D isn't up to par in that aspect.

    Yet. :p

I'll count it as a blessing that that headcase is on another team.

The Texans D is going to be sick in a year or two.

Jemarcus Russell looks like an O-lineman. Do they not have a S&C program in Oakland?

:lol  @ Tebow going to Denver. I guaran-damn-tee you they are planning on using him as an H-back. Make him go through camp and help him realize he won't make it as a passer in the NFL, but could be a pretty good back.

Not sure how I feel about the Eagles getting the end from UM. Was that the best available option for them at #13?

I agree with Ron, 49ers aren't going to win anything with Alex Smith as QB. He's a bust, product of a system in college, move on and get a decent QB. They should be really good in the next few years if that happens. young, talented team.

So will everyone brainstorm with me? Since everyone thinks drafting Tebow was a waisted pick, what on earth did Denver see in him?

Sure, Tebow was a Heisman Trophy winner, awesome on short yardage, crying like a baby and won 1 national championship (Chris Leak won the other) but.....

    What did they see?

So what are your thoughts on KC getting Javi Arenas? I know he's an excellent return specialist, but what about his game as a corner?

I think the Niners are better off without him. He's a TERRIBLE blocker in the backfield, as if he's never done it before. He's pretty much a one-cut, straight-ahead guy.

All I hear and see around here (Florida) are whiny bitches, pissing in their Fruit Loops because the Jagoffs didn't draft Tebow. Everyday in the paper are op-pieces from people claiming that they will NEVER buy Jags tickets just for that reason....

How can anyone think ANY team will draft a player just on the off chance they will sell more tickets because the player is a local? At last count, the Jags needed to sell like 17,000 more season tickets to avoid blackouts again this year. Does anyone think Tebow would draw more than maybe 5% of that? I just wish the Florida Times Union would print a notice: To all who wanted Tebow drafted by the Jags.......GET OVER IT!!!!!

BTW- I am NOT a Jags fan, i'm just stuck between Jacksonville and Gainesville. And if this Tebow bulls**t doesn't stop soon, I'm gonna chuck my lunch........

GO STEELERS!!!! (and Ben, keep it in your pants)

JAX drafting Tebow would have been a worse reach than the guy they already reached for.

Tebow will not succeed in this league.

I'm happy with the Browns draft. They picked up 8 new guys and they really improved the team in some needed areas, specifically the DB's. Haden and TJ Ward will instantly help the defense and I think Montario Hardesty will play. He complements Jerome Harrison. And Colt McCoy. Falling all the way to 85. I really like that pick. I love that they didn't have reach for it and it just worked out. He won't have to play for a few years and he'll just learn with Jake Delenhome, Senecca Wallace, Mike Holmgren, Mangini. Overall, I like this draft and I think they are a better team now.

This is a make or break year for Alex Smith. If he can't be relied upon to move the offense when the running game isn't working then they have to look for another QB in next year's draft.
