I feel it is needed to be brought up, following the finale of To Boldly Flee, Doug Walker, aka The Nostalgia Critic, has decided to hang up his cap and coat, there will be no more Nostalgia Critic episodes, I don't know how many people watched his reviews, but I felt it needed to be mentioned conidering his first ever video was a jumpcut review for Transformers, and he did it again for Revenge of The Fallen and Dark of The Moon, he also reviewed the first three episodes of the 1984 Tv series, The Nostalgia Critic will be missed, he remembered it so we didn't have to........

    Farewell Nostalgia Critic.

As sad as it is to see him end the show, the recent episodes had been getting stale and unfunny. Besides, he'll still be doing other stuff, and he's working on new stuff, too.

I know but it could be another six months or a year for Demo Reel to come on and even then It might not be a s funny as The Nostalgia Critic, however that is unlikly, this is almost like when Friends ended, and how we will feel when The Big Bang Theory ends

Well, he's not quitting. He's just retiring the Nostalgia Critic. I'm curious about his new show.

We already have a NC discussion in Movies and TV. Seems kinda pointless to have another thread here.

its sad but he's been doing it for years I'd want to change it up as well.... however removing new content from that site without others that can really fill the gap might not end well and it does not help that Spoony parted with them (love him or hate him he did generate a ton of views for them)

*leaps for joy* I never liked Nostalgia Critic. His antics aren't as funny as he thinks they are, and I've hated him ever since he trashed one of my favourite movies, Space Jam. :mad

Farewell Critic. Everybody on Transformers world will remember you for that one guy who made a horrible review of the first three episodes of Transformers G1. I will remember who for a guy who was once funny but after two years or so just became long, boring, stale and unfunny. It is time to give up being the critic Doug, at least for a while.

Sadly this will create a vacuum of sorts and suck more wanna-be in to fill the void.

I think the opposite is the more likely thing to happen, actually. I know I want to do my own web series, though I'm still deciding what I should do.

... I'm not quite sure if you're being serious or not, seeing as this is the Internet. But I'm a fan of Space Jam myself, and I found his review on it hilarious, and it also helps me realize that some of the elements in that movie didn't make as much sense as when I was a kid. But I still like it, mostly because it's something that killed time for me when I was a kid.

Glad he quit while he was a little ahead, instead of letting go on and suffer longer. It was already getting a little stale. I was starting to lose interest anyway.

I eagerly await his new project, however.
