    highlights

its good to see more competition, but i think the reason why IE is used more is because it comes with the computer that comes with Windows...

at work, we use IE because its already on it and they dont want to have to install another web browser on thousands of computers that they have to keep track, watch, and update...

but as for Google Chrome, i'm gonna try it...i'm pretty much sure i'll like it more than IE :D

But all in all, FireFox :rock s.

...Seriously who uses IE? What the hell dudes, what the hell.

(I figure this post should be a batsignal for Streck and the Microsoft propaganda).

I use IE simply because I can't see myself ever caring enough to want to change it. Though if I do, it will probably be to Firefox, not this.

Actually you should take a look at the new desktop thread. IE all up ins.

This actually looks really exciting and probably owes alot more to Android development than they let on. Very similar design philosophies. The comic posted in the other thread is way more informative than that yahoo article and everyone should check it out.

I use IE at work because thats what most of our customers use. I use it as a quick reference. But I used Firefox here at home. I just got a new laptop, and one of the first things I did was install Firefox

I'll definitely be downloading Chrome this evening. Considering the large brain warehouse Google employees, it'll interesting to see their take on a new browser. These screenshot show a fairly streamlined interface, which appears to borrow both from Firefox & IE. Looks good so far. Can't wait for the Linux & Mac ports.

In other browser news, IE8 may warrant a memory upgrade.  exo.blog: Internet Explorer 8: Over 2x “Fatter” than Firefox

I use IE primarily for browser testing only (for web development), and even then it's still IE6 as I'm not ready to let IE7 f**k my computer up. Firefox ftw.

Fast and smooth! Lacks some features though, such as an ad-blocker.

I guess Chrome just needs some polish!

I've been using it for a few hours. I like it a lot. My middle mouse wheel is hosed up too but I'm sure it'll be fixed. This actually works really well for an early beta.
