According to the bio of the Prime Cyberverse toy of
Dreadwing, it states he is the second-in-command.

Do you think that's what's exactly going to happen in the show? Is it just clever writing?

I wouldn't be suprised if Dreadwing IS the new second in command. He has the right quialtys for it. He's not backstabbing and self centered like Starscream and Airachnid are so it's safe to say that Dreadwing's the one to take the place.

Uh, I guess. It's not like Megatron as anyone else as a good candidate for second in command. And don't quote me and say Soundwave, because he handles information, not commands.

Hell yeah, Dreadwing better be second-in-command! He could finally get rid of Airachnid. He killed poor Seaspray, why not her?

I hope it's translated into the show. Seeing Dreadwing step up and be awesome would be great.

Well I hope he kills Wheejack for the shits and giggles of all the rages bound to happen.

Anyway, it appears we can't even look at toys now to prevent spoilers.

    Wheeljack, Seaspray, and Airachnid.

Three killed by Dreadwing in his first episode would be awesome.

Yes! And I'd like a re-coloured Wheeljack to come back as Sideswipe.

Sorry, kinda have to. You're half-in-half.
Half-right: Soundwave can't uphold the position because he pretty much does everything else (excluding combat).
Half-wrong: Its been proven in the show that Soundwave does command soldiers and direct them. Starscream noted this when trying to lay the blame on Soundwave so Megatron wouldn't execute him. As to how Soundwave does that.......well there is always speculation.......

That could have meant that he was in charge of organizing the transportation of their equipment to relay to someone else, rather than directly ordering the troops what to move. But still; his primary focus is communications management instead of ordering people around (unless they try to betray Megatron, apparently)

Ah. I refused to see that clip to prevent spoilers. Now I guess I don't have to. Maybe Sideways should have put that Sea Spray thing in spoiler tags. Just my opinion.

He's just mentioned in a flash back. We don't even see him. So it's nothing major but you might be right. Sorry you got spoiled.

Meh. I'm used to people not knowing how to keep their god damn mouths shut about spoilers. Better to adapt than to hurt. Except when I had Mass Effect 3 spoiled. I hurt someone for that.

Isn't it kind of heard to be second-in-command if your primary function is to spy on your own--this still is Soundwave's job right: to be Megatron's eyes and ears while he's away?

I thought the same thing when I read his bio. Kinda makes more sense for Soundwave to be his second-in-command. I'll want to learn more about Dreadwing B4 its confirmed though. :)

He was probably just Starscream's old second in command.

The way the bio said it wasn't past tense, though.
