He'll be going straight into my junk parts bin. Or my crappy minicon box. I just want Metroplex, no interest in this guy.
I think Deadsled meant that keeping him the same size was better. And I agree. ... shit, I may have to get this Metroplex. The price made me just say "no" but... it's actually beginning to look like a decent deal. Damn thing's going to be twice the size of a leader.
yeah, that's what I was saying. agreed, the more pics I see of this the harder it is to tell myself I can't afford it...
Very cool. (Not sure how hard making a Cyberverse fig is, but this looks like a neat homage of teh original).
This is just amazing. I LOVED Scamper as a kid. I played with that figure and Powermaster Prime's Hi-Q like crazy, even though I had other more substantial TFs. I'm not sure why. I wish I could go back in time and tell my eight year-old self not to worry about Metroplex with the broken waist, you'll end up getting THIS bad-boy!!
Scamper was my favorite part of G1 Metroplex. I had this big dude just sitting there and wouldn't put Scamper down for a second. Given that, I'm thrilled to not only see the confirmed version with New Metroplex, but that he looks AWESOME.
It is a free Transformer that comes with a very very fair (i say steal) priced Titan. How can you not love it? Minor nitpicks are I would prefer a black vs that grey brown colour thingy and the red head. All things I can totally live with though. Bring on the Titan...and his little friend too.
Really cool. Never had G1 Metroplex, so I never paid much attention to these "base pack-in" guys before, but they seem cool. Really want to see the alt mode. Maybe Slammer and Sixgun might get released on their own as Cyberverse toys? Also red head = Metrodash = Metrotitan redeco confirmed! lol
I love him. I actually hope he keeps the red head, it gives him some visual interest while still keeping most of the all-black coolness of the original.
I don't think it's been said, but I'd guess he's the same "scale" as the new main figure in the Legends 2-pack: Optimus/Bumblebee sized. Which in turn seems closest to Cyberverse Commander sized. At least with shoulders, elbows, hips and knee joints they seem to have the complexity of a Commander. More articulation than a Legion. I wouldn't be surprised to see the mold repainted as ...someone... with some little partner as a Legends 2-pack.
Seems okay for a prototype, but we really need some third-party Slammer and Six-Gun to complete the set.
