How could anyone not think these aren't excellent designs...? Since I have been a fan since the beggining but haven't kept up with the toons...I have been watching all of the Cybertron episodes...and what is funny is many of you are complaining about the new Optimus designs....The Optimus in that toon was the G-H-E-Yest Prime I have ever seen...I mean come on a flying fire truckish looking think...I mean the point of the autobots is that they are cars that couldn't fly..Now all of the sudden trucks can fly..And that megatron was dumb looking as well... PS anyone know why certain episodes aren't on Hasbros Action-Videos..They have every episode except like 2 or 3...?
personally i think that the face designs are rubbish.. however, they are old concept sketches from almost a year ago, so i dont think that anyone can really make an educated judgement based on them
Very easily, in fact. I myself think they look great. But that's the great thing about the human brain, it has the capability to form its own opinions.
In fact, they don't need a nose because they don't breath. Then, why the two eyes builted into the skull pointing straight forward, and the mouth and teeth? They're freaking mechanical shape shifting aliens, they should see things 360 degrees around and charge using a power cable or something, not eating stuff. See, this whole discussion is useless - they're looking ugly because that's the way they wanted them to look like: ugly aliens.
I don’t care for the flames a lot, but off all the characters we have seen so far Prime looks the most like past incarnations.
Well I like Prime's design. What I did say this afternoon was that his new face makes him look older than I imagine. I know Prime is a mature kinda old bot but he was always in better shape than Megatron, but with the new concepts it seems to be the other way: Megatron looking younger than Prime. I'm not complaining, it's just an observation. Maybe is the long face, I don't know. but in overall I like it.
still blows surprised they haven't 'leaked' how the other go-bots look edit..just saw how bumblebee looks from the art section ouch
Yeah man. And like in the movie Autobot stands for autonomous robot, go-bot stands for go-screw-yourself-transformers-fan-bots, and I hear their designs are even more radical. Who would have thought they would ruin even the bad things?
