Black suit spidy Sandman (has anyone reported on a normal head? - he otherwise looks great) and probably Green Goblin for me. Edit: Maybe we'll get a new head and a young Logan with that design too. Love the jacket.
He has two heads, ine screaming and one half sand/half normal. That Warlock sucks. Death Heads II is half assed and OML is another wasted space. Shatterstar looks pretty good, but he needs a long half cloak IMO. This D lister and cheap modern versions need to end.
Yeah, you're right. I don't see it changing sadly. Maybe they figure that we'll get the bigger more important/popular characters elsewhere, so they'll provide lower tier characters to fill out the collection (I HIGHLY doubt that though) Same here. I got lucky with deadpool and the mark 46.. But I wouldn't dare order a figure with human eyes from them.. Or something like venom where mistakes can be rather noticeable.
I mean, I like that we get C-listers and D-listers, but it's absurd that they're packed at the same ratio as far more popular characters. Hasbro teasing solid cases like they do is just a kick in the teeth.
One good thing I like about getting C-list and D-list characters is it makes me do my research and expand my knowledge of the bigger Marvel Universe beyond the cartoons and movies.
Yeah it's not the classic version everyone wants, but I understand why they did Warlock though, someone at Hasbro really loves the Annihilation era GotG of which that Warlock was a key member. You have to give the designers credit though, they're trying to give different generations of fans their key figures, much like how they're trying to give the Jim Lee X-Men era along with the mid 2000s X-Men team. They've also given us pieces to build a classic 70s/80s Avengers, and still producing members for the modern era team. That said, anyone think OML could possibly get a younger Logan head? That would make a lot of people happy since he can be displayed 2 ways.
Sandman - Expected, looks cool, but does he not have any regular arms? It's great that he has these sand arms, but some regular ones would be nice. I wonder if I could use some of those parts on the SDCC one. Shocker - Need better pics, but so far he looks impressive. Hasbro is really milking those energy blasts though. Shatterstar - AWESOME!!!! That is exactly the Shatterstar I was hoping for. Logan - Unless he comes with an alternate younger head, this is the bomb of the wave for me. Death's Head II - OH MY GOD ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!! I loved reading the first issue of DHII when he tore that lame looking original to pieces. This is a must buy. Adam Work - Not sure how I feel about him, honestly. Where's the cap and the staff?
I saw a stack of Odin wave Iron Fists (at least 20 of them), some Wasps and a bunch of other junk...and The whole X-Men wave minus Deadpool! Not sure why I didn't grab Wolverine and Rogue other than both boxes were damaged and the paint/fit/finish wasn't stellar.
Oh yeah, my Gamestop started selling Marvel Legends recently. They got in Iron Fist, Machine Man, Ms Marvel, and Hawkeye.
I wonder if my Power Up rewards card gives me points for buying Marvel Legends? They are marked down by 5 dollars.
I think the new Electro in the Space Venom wave looks like a good Electro, then again I'm not the biggest Spidey fan and I'm only in for his villains. My only problem? Its probably not going to show up in stores.
Not a fan of the black legs and I don't feel like painting myself. The lack of human hands is also a deal killer. I wasn't able to get a cheap Iron Fist, the lowest price I saw was $15. I would have grabbed one for $10 just for the hands.
Except for the lack of hands, the Electro we just got is perfectly fine. It's not like there is that big of a difference between the original design and this one.
