Some fan modes are just as nice (or better in the case of Cybertron Menasor) as the real modes so I hope people keep posting them.

 

If you arrange his weapons just right, you can give Classics Optimus Prime a jetpack.
-Open his spoiler (weathervane? whatever) and pull the gun barrel out just a bit, then close the spoiler back up.
-Attach the smokestacks to the spoiler with the stacks aiming down (this may take some slight adjustment because it isn't really designed to connect this way)
-Attach the spoiler to his back with all three "nozzles" aiming down

Tada!  

 

What are Menasor's fan modes?

I think it's been well establiched, but Classics Megatron has a couple of Powerlinx-esque points on his wings.

 

Since I rarely go to other forums, it's so weird to see all the giant annoying sigs and avatars. Kinda makes me wanna stay here.

The sigs are way too big here. And no, it isn't a resolution problem with me.

Anyways, I love this topic! I never find anything myself, but I'll be damned if I am not going to try and find the G1 combiners to attach to my Metroplex!

true, it was stickied when I joined about 2 and a half years ago, in fact I made my first post in it. Something about beast machines megatron...

anyway, about three months later, people just kinda started ignoring it

 

I think its cause it got so darned long.. like Cool Stuff did before it was decided to purge it every coupla-thousand posts...

hehe with the space between the pics in your sig it looks like we're looking at Megatron through a window and the pane just got in the way

 

I'd say these count as "Hidden Features" just as much as Energon Insecticon's Ninja Turtle face.

1. If you take off Energon Landmine's visor, he looks a bit like Omega Supreme.



2. Classics Starscream has a hidden, VERY stylized Decepticon symbol in his wing stripes. Okay, even I'll admit that this one is a stretch, but parts of the pattern resemble pieces of the Decepticon symbol. I just put them together like a puzzle.  

 

I got Classics Starscream today, and I found that he has undocumented front landing wheels - the turbines in his "chest" fold out.

It's not undocumented. There's a step in the instructions, and the card back says "Flip down landing gear!".
