I really miss that old thread. Time to bring it back with all the new toys.

I feel like a tard for never knowing this until yesterday , but did you know that the
Spychangers are made to store their weapons between their legs?

Man I totally missed the memo on that one :redface2:

Any new secrets out there that's not in the instructions?

Its not on the instructions for CD Scattorshot that his rifle pegs quite nicely to his back in robot mode, and on the treads in tank mode :p

Alternator Grimlock/Wheeljack: Gun can be stored in robot mode by pegging it to the rear view mirror inside the roof of the car.

Alternator Shockblast/Meister: Gun can be pegged to wrist.

Alternator Subarus: Gun can also be pegged to wrist, but it looks stupid.

Alternator Smokescreen: Gun can be pegged into inside of his roof in robot mode, right under "the camera".

Alternator Optimus Prime: Legs can be extended slightly out of truck bed, but if you try to do it by pulling it will break his legs, instead, bend the knee until you hear a click.

I can never find hidden features...

That's because the first six RID Spychangers all came with new guns. I have the original G2 molds of each of those six (in some casses a couple of their G2 repaints as well) and they all come with guns similar to the second four that can be pinned between their legs.

I would hardly call Alt Prime's legs a hidden feature. It IS in the instructions.

Did anyone notice that the letter combination of "cl" looks a great deal like a "d" when glanced at? ;)

    hehe click

anyways, Cybertron Scrap Metal, his blade can be pulled out from his cannon, and used in his hand
    [IMG]

Cybertron Buzzsaw's (as well as the other cyclonus molds) rear tail fin can be popped off, and attatched to his arm. the helicopter blade can also be popped off and, it use to go on the mini-con port on his arm, but those were replaced on Buzzsaw
    [IMG]

Cybertron Snarl's gun can be stored on the holster on the side of his leg. Im not sure if this is what it's meant for (I never actually look at any of the instructions lol) but armourhide has an identical clip on the side of his gun, but I can't figure out where to put it. must do something else I dont know about
    [IMG]

Cybertron Breakdowns gun can be stored on his back in robot mode

Wreckloose can store his weapon on his back (not really Hidden, as it's quite obvious IMO, just like the Ramble sword)

The holders you're talking about Mike, are used for the force chips.

the hole on cybertron soundwave/soundblasters underside/back can be used (seen a few shots like this) to insert into a clear plastic stand, to make it appear he is hovering. i don't know wher eto get the right kind of display stand, but alot of the soundblaster pics i see use that hole for the display stand

G1 ironhide/ratchet can store thier guns in the underbelly of vehicle mode, and the red peg has a snap in groove under the front hood section fir storage.

Energon Snowcat's missle launchers are removeable and can be attached to his arms in a G1 Megatron way.

    Most probably already knew that.
That's cool about Alt Prime's click

When CD Hotshot's key is put in his back (without activation the special feature), it looks like there's a puppet thing on his back. :p  But don't try it because I've copyrighted it. Muhaha!

I guess that most people know this but since it's not depicted in the instructions...
CD Hotshot's sword fits in the holes under his fists. So that he can use it as a "lance" or Idunno what to call it.
And his sword can be stored on that thing on his leg in robot mode
