The New "He-Man" Has Been Killed (October 17th 2008)
Probably for the best.
YES! THE 80'S ONE WITH DOLPH IS STILL THE ONLY ONE!
Sorry, someone had to do it, and figured it may as well be me!
Thank you . It would have bombed anyway....
Yay for no movie full of shirtless men!
Oh we still have plenty of those...
Bear In Me
Look out for the Bears
Bears on my Mind
Cock loving Bears...
You get the idea...
I would have liked to see it, but I have also always thought that there is no way they could get a big enough budget to do it correctly.
After reading a synopsis of the script, it actually sounded really good. Like Warner Bros., I too would be cautious on how it's made, but the script sounds too good to almost not get made.
Oh well, I guess I still have Dolph Lundren to look to for my live-action fix.
Yeah I loved the sound of the synopsis too. But as was said by AICN (where I read it), it's sounds good enough that nobody would actually make it. Sad that they were on the money...
You forgot one.
And for the film being canceled, it's probably for the best.
I forgot Beowulf too for Hopkins CGI Grizzly old liver marked body...
Actually, the story did sound kinda cool. ashame its killed..
I am sad.
No big loss..
Good. We don't need another one.
He Man would have been awesome i still love the old cartoon where are the thundercats also?
If it was as good as the story seemed to be we may have missed on a great flick. But now Hollywood will just give us more crap like Beverly Hills Chihauhau.
The old He-Man cartoon is so homoerotic, it's not funny. I remember Weirdwolf picked up the cartoon on DVD and we sat down to watch it for the first time since the 80s. It was unbearable. Transformers and GI Joe held up much better over the years.
Now to wait for the same news for the Tom and Jerry Live action movie
