Speaking for everyone is definitely the best way to convince people that you're on the level and not on the rabid defensive at all. Also yeah, the G1 toys were the best thing ever. I remember having TM Megatron as a kid and thinking "yeah this is cool, but why couldn't it be G1 Ratchet or Starscream? Those figures had the best proportions, articulation, and transformations." And the movies, oof, don't get me going. ROTF Leader Prime is like universally despised for its simplicity and lack of accuracy for a mainline product. Meanwhile, fast-forward to the MP line, and things have gotten worse. I can't believe Cheetor and Primal looks like they stepped right out of the show, they should have completely fudged proportions like Sideswipe. And those full-body paint jobs look so cheap, they should be 90% bare plastic like Shockwave. Well, not everyone can sell as well as Tracks. Also, I'd take a swing by more sites. G1 MPs are all pretty readily available. And for a lot less than retail. I don't see many Primals or Cheetors on Mandarake. And when I do, the price isn't as dramatically reduced as is usually seen. I do see a metric tonne of everyone else, though. Releasing two redecoes of mainline figures isn't exactly "trying" now is it? So if TT released Leader Sixshot as an MP would that be considered their best effort? I mean, it didn't fail. Because now they're actually making real all-new mould MPs. So clearly if anything it inspired them to continue with even greater effort. Well put. Most toys actually don't sell out, too. Even MPs. I got my MP Road Rage for 50% off. And as I said, she and many MPs can still be found for far below MSRP. Well, you certainly seem angry. Or at least incredibly defensive. And boy, there is plenty wrong with what you've said. No, it absolutely wasn't, and suggesting it was is the height of arrogance. If making new entires into a line is a sign of its failure, what doe sthat say about G1 MPs? Seems that by every measure of this guy's logic, his arguement just doesn't seem to stand up. Hell, they made a totally random toy-accurate redeco of Primal, and people actually bought it, because the mould was that good. Y'know, I thought we had reached a point in the fandom where this kind of elitism didn't exist. Nobody's gotta like everything, obviously, but claiming any series is more or less worthy of the MP treatment than another is absurd, let alone wishing for its fans to go without it. That's real mature.
