I'm in Singapore at the moment and visited my usual store. Had a longer than usual chat with the owner - actually it's more my wife speaking in Chinese and translating as his English isn't perfect, but anyway. He was saying how he was the first in SG to have Dirge and Artfire in hand so I asked if he's 'in the know', has contacts/info etc.

Apparently he goes on some 'course' with Hastak. Dunno if that's some super secret inner circle induction with secret mason-like handshakes, or just something to do with being a retailer. But he did mention he is privy to some advance information and discussion etc.

Anyway - large pinch of salt, but the actual juicy tidbit I got, which he seemed pretty sure of...

They've got Porsche already and Jazz highly expected to be soon - like 40 or 41.

Maybe the interviewers were just messing with us by parroting back the 'long awaited character ' language when discussing Sunstreaker. Maybe it's been Jazz all along. MAYBE WE'LL SEE HIM AT TTS LATER THIS WEEK!!

They never said one long awaited character they said a, nothing stopping it from being more than 1.
Say we get an odd number molds next year is one of them a new Japanese G1? Being that the price for Ginrai is ridiculous and Godbomber is likely to follow do we see a big time japanese g1 character? Super Ginrai,?Overlord? Dai Atlas? Sixshot?Or do we get Minerva/Nightbeat if they do have porshe

If it's true, I wonder if Jazz might bump Dinobot. He's not the kind of character to hold onto, I think he'll be in the factory before the ink is dry. Still, the BW fans are going to riot if Dinobot isn't shown at TTS, and we're talking about a lot of MPs here for a year that's supposed to be a live-action movie spotlight.

 

I'd be fine if it was MP40 Dinobot and MP41 Jazz. Just as long as they are announced soon. If Meister is announced I don't know if I should Hyperventilate or Play Jazz music.

Wait, who said the Seekers are done? We still need G2 Starscream, G2 Ramjet, Bitstream, Hotlink, Ion Storm, Nova Storm, Nacelle, Red Wing, and a generic purple Seeker.   Oh, and then once they're done we need a V3 Seeker so we can start all over again.  

You're right, though, it's going to be interesting to see where the MP line goes in the next few years, with all the low-hanging G1 fruit quickly getting snapped up. Hopefully, we will indeed start seeing minibots, triple changers, and all the other subgroups that TT has not touched yet. It's definitely slim pickings on the Con side. Galvatron is a lock, it's just a matter of when. If Galvy is not the next "big" Con release, we could see Astrotrain and Blitzwing.

Ooh, the plot thickens. Hope this bears out. Sunstreaker and Jazz back to back? Great news for the completion of the Diaclone cars. That would leave Mirage as the only one with tricky licensing, and I'm sure TT will make it work.

 

It wouldn't surprise me if Dinobot was like Primal teased and then revealed after a couple other releases. I wonder what's the turn around on designing a BW versus G1 especially someone as complicated as Dinobot.
For what it's worth it's okay for the BW to learn patience , G1 has had to practice it for 6yrs now. That would be crazy though because we were so sure he was 39 butif "what he say" is right he could be 42. They could riot twice him not being the next MP and him being $150

Really? I was told Wednesday and Thursday are just trades and reveals might not be till Friday night North American time.

If i'm not wrong, the public access is the 2nd day of june (wich is friday in japan).
So the panel of announcements is the third day (saturday- again, saturday in japan, so, friday in the west).

BUT, we can see some things during the expo with the public access.

My only problem with MP Jazz is that it means I have to buy Stepper too. Oh what a first world problem that to have.
