is there any way you can possibly add parts to make him remotely transform then?

I like the shoulder mod :)  it would all rock hard if he could transform, but still your work looks good! Keep it up! ;)

I like the concept a lot, especially the chest window. But now I really want to see the alt mode. Maybe Plowking can help. Calling Plowking, come in Plowking!

can't transform=NOT A TRANSFORMER. Just an overly glorified action figure. And IMO, the best thing about alternators, is their ability to work almost perfectly in alt their ALTERNATE mode, so how can something be called and ALTERNATOR if it can't alternate/transform?

Nice... sculpture. Sorry, no transformation and just robot mode makes it a sculpture at best.

Some'a yall be some cold bitches. Take it easy on the dude. This soulds like a rather complex task in the first place.

Looks good, I was actually thinking of doing somthing similar to make a Megatron that did'nt transform, but looked like it came from a Humvee.

Don't let a few negative posts sour you up, man. For every 1 post that is remotely negative, there are tons more positive posts. Often times (but certain not always) the negative posts are from people who've never attempted a custom, yet alone something as complex as you're doing. Keep 'em coming man! Keep 'em coming! :thumb

Yeah, like SQ7 said, dont let the comments get you down....I have a few "part-formers" in my collection too, (Alt. Plowking version 1, Alt. Wrecker and Alt. Dirty Gurl)that doesn't mean they are not just as cool as the rest!

I understand how the comments could get you down, when I first showed Alt. Dirty Gurl, at first people were like "COOL!" but when people found out the mod I did made it a "parts-former" they were all like "it's o.k., but it a parts-former....meh" That can make you feel crappy, but just ignore those comments, it's all about what makes YOU happy...

And like I said earlier, I think it looks pretty cool. Only thing I would do to it, if you were going to keep it like that is to make some panels to cover up the top of the feet, other than that, it's fine to me, most of the time, mine are in either bot mode or vehicle mode anyway, so this would fit in great in my collection.

Why wont it transform? Is there any way tou can add a hinge? I'm trying to understand why it won't fit. It's definitely a great custom, very inspired.

A hinge? I think there's a little more than a single hinge stopping it from transforming.

While it looks decent, the fact that it can't transform just ruins it for me, just like any other Tf that doesn't transform.

I think it looks great! Very innovative idea, putting the windows on the chest like that. Even if it doesn't transform, it's a very cool-looking figure and a creative take on both Prime and the Mustang mold.

And c'mon.... most people just display their Transformers in robot mode anyway, who cares if this one doesn't transform? Nice job!

yeah man, please keep posting!! it was taking a while for the pic to load, so I got to read what you had wrote before seeing the pic. usually kitbashes that don't transform are REALLY unique, and this is one of them. I've seen ones that transform, are painted to perfection, and look factory, but have just made me go "looks nice, meh." when I saw yours though, I was like WOAH! that's creativity, right there. finish it, show it, and then show more :thumb

That is a really original concept.

I'm sure having an opening window chest, and being able to transform would be insanely hard to accomplish with the existing Alternator moulds.
