I'm sure you've heard of them; shows that barely last a season, and are never seen of heard from again. MAbye you dug it, not no one had a clue as to what you were talking about. The ones that never made it big, and will not be seen on dvd or youtube, such as:

    Toxic Avengers( Yes, seriously)
    Rude dog and the Dweebs
    Super Mario World

Anybody else have any they'd like to share?

Sledgehammer. As far as I know the last episode of the first season was a cliffhanger leaving the main character a vampire. Never seen anything on it again, and that was I think in '86.

I think "The Tick" live action show has a DVD release. I could be wrong.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't notice the thread title said "Animated". Sledgehammer was not animated. I can't recall any cartoons that don't seem to be coming out on DVD now.

    What about The Avengers?

You know, Marvel's Avengers. I remember seeing an episode and I was all "Cool, there's an Avengers cartoon."
Saw it again the next Saturday and then it was gone forever.

Was Super Mario World considered an extention of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show? I know they put the Super Show on DVD, so maybe Mario World will make it eventually.

I'm wondering is the very short lived '88 Superman toon will ever make it to DVD.

"The Job" starring Dennis Leary. I think 5-7 episodes aired on ABC before it was canceled. It friggin ruled.

*edit* Missed the "animated" part of the title. Excuse the post

    Zeroman.

The Tick animated/live action. (Well I never saw it)

MegasXLR. (again, don't know for sure if it's gone for good.)

Just to mention Invader ZIM, they should've continued that series!

"The Brak Show starring Brak"...which, I think, was supposed to be the Brak version of "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast" for a while, and then got morphed into just plain ol' "The Brak Show."

Think it came out this week! Its the animated show based on Mario Bros. 3.

My wife would say Mission Hill, even though it runs occasionally.
