    Updated September 2015:
Our second child was born last December. As a result of his birth, I lost the basement office that had doubled as my collection room (or was it the other way around?) since 2011 (see second post below for old collection room pics). As a result, over a year ago my father and law and I started slowly (SLOWLY) finishing off a good size space in the basement to replace that space. I finally finished a few weeks ago, moved and dusted my collection, and now have it to a place where it's fit to be seen again. I've taken a few pics to share below:

Both walls, lots of clutter. About the earliest pic I could find:

Hoo hoo, he's ripping me off Robin..

Curio's are the way to go for displays, I think I have the exact same case for my Primes.

Well, in my defense I've had the curio for my G1 stuff since 2001. I spent that silly $300 rebate/bribe Dubya sent out to buy it -- it was the most frivolous way I could think of to spend the money. So, perhaps YOU are copying ME!!

And I don't know what the brand/model on mine is, but it does look similar to your Prime display. I saw the pics last night when I was trying to decide whether or not to post my pics. If it helps any I bought mine at Slumberland. If you think it might be the same or close enough and know the manufacturer let me know -- I was trying to figure that out the past few months while I've been hunting Craigslist. I just kept hoping a matching identical model would magically show up there. The new one (alts & beast wars curio) is a good enough match -- albeit a bit small -- but it would be sweet to have a few identical curios.

And they are the way to go. Makes dusting the collection a 1-2x times a year affair. Plus it lends a lot of credibility to the whole "I collect toy robots designed for children" thing. ;)

Again, go to Big Lots, it's where I got mine, and pretty cheap too. All are under 200$ The one we have in common was about 169$

Nice curio and collection...the only thing bad about the curios is having to clean the glass...and the one I had would get dust inside over time...and you have to remove your collection in order to clean that...

Absolutely 100% correct sir. Display cases are the way to go. I started out w/ barrister's bookcases and have ended up w/ showcases. They really do lend a bit more credence to the "they are collectibles, not just toys" argument.

Very nice set-up, and nice overall collection. You have some great figures in there.

Bumped for new pics. Some of the wide shots don't match the individual shelf pics any longer...

Thanks. AFAIK the only difference is the FunSkool toys have a FunSkool sticker on them. I had originally thought it was the Hasbro UK version of the packaging otherwise, but someone else thought it was the US. See here: link

I've never actually gone ahead and compared the packaging, but the toy should be the same as what you would buy elsewhere. Just something not many people have the helps remind me of my trip to India.

Yes. I helped organize and coordinate an effort to buy up enough MP SS toys for all the people who regularly post in the MN sightings thread. We had a list of like 19 people, 7 of which you can see in the pic that I bought for myself. We tracked shipments and had people waiting at the stores the days that they arrived. We were rather happy that none showed up on Craigslist or Ebay.
