Hey all awhile back I came up with the Idea to make a model of the decepticon ship the nemesis, but funds were tight. I finally got some cash flow going so here is the start to my project.

That's a pretty cool idea... If I ever had a fish tank I think I'd do everything is my power to find a reasonable Nemesis One to bury in the gravel.

I've gotten most of the rear of the ship completed. I still have to finish the wings and bottom fin. For the center I have to make the fins and bottom chamber. and the entire front still to do yet. So tell me what ya think and any ideas or crit. thanx

Well here are some pics to give you an idea of scale.

If all goes to the original design it will be about two foot long.

WOW! Another scratch builder like Anemis and his Metroplex. Looks good.
I started one using the front of the X-men ship but then I lost interest. Good luck.

Well I have most of it basically put together. I still need to make the part for underneath that had the tractor beam in beast wars and the front cannon. after that clean it up and add some more details.

I lined all the edges and colored the windows in the observation tower to give it an animated feel . comments, crits welcome. when i get some time I plan to make an ark to complement this.

I like it. You could strengthen the wings with another support piece on the undeneath so that they would be a little more straight. Also, have you thought about adding smaller detail, to make the ship look massive? You'll find it's very easy to cut strips of styrene into hundreds of little windows for this beast. Just remember to paint them all together BEFORE you glue them on. Oooh and add some more cannons.

I agree, a little more detail would go a looooooong way. Also, if you ever get the chance, I'd paint it a much darker purple, as it was almost black in BW.

    Fantastic nonetheless!:thumb

Yeah it was almost black in beast wars, but it was decepticon purple in g1. This is a mix of G1 comics, show and beast wars designs. They were all different from one another same with the ark. The purple is actually darker in person Krylon fusion purple. As to the windows it is hard to figure out where to place them, same with structure supports for the wings. Any Ideas would nice.
