Post Pictures of the Beauty and Wrath of Mother Nature! Today, while working around the garden, I spotted a few interesting insects. Some I have no idea exactly what specific species of insect they are. Here is a caterpillar that was near the kitchen door. I think this is a moth. The way it's 4 wings rested reminded me of an F-15 Eagle. Here's a really unusual caterpillar that was on one of the plants. It's covered in white fuzzy fur and has a light yellow underbelly. Some type of flying insect. I have no idea what it is. A fairly big black ant. All these natural wonders wee short lived however, as I had to run inside because we were suddenly hit with a very severe thunder storm. You really can't see the lightning well, but it flashed every second or two, followed by the loudest thunder I've ever heard. So loud, that the house shook a little, and my house is solid brick. The rainstorm lasted well over 2 hours at my house, flooded the streets, had water flowing over the sidewalks, and even flooded parts of my backyard. Unfortunately, there were no rainbows after this storm, as there usually are whenever a sever storm around us dissipates.
