Did anyone else see it?? I thought it was pretty bland. I've love the past two films for what there worth,(fun, adventure films with neat FX), but this one seemed I don't know...boring. I thought some elements were neat like the helpful yetis or the entire Emperor shape shifting deal but it seemed out of place without Imhotep. Also maybe I disliked it because I hate the entire, "let's bring our son into the picture!!" cliche. Overall if you only have a small interest in seeing the movie do yourself a favor and see The Dark Knight again(unless your one of the two people who haven't and in that case SEE IT YOU FOOL!!!)

I still don't get why Jet Li tried to pull a Jay-Z (or Michael Jordan): His post-retirement "comeback" hasn't garnered much interest for me.

And I won't bother seeing it especially since I just can't see Maria Bello as a replacement for Rachel Weisz. But yes, I will instead see The Dark Knight a second time.

^ Jet Li hasn't ever really seemed to make it to "retirement" to me. He's had lots of Very Last Movie Where He Does Martial Arts -- We Mean It, though.

Anywho, planning to go see this today, even though I thought Mummy 2 was rather meh. Love the first one, though.

Jet Li never said he was retiring from acting--he was just retiring from doing huge martial arts epics like "Hero" and "Tai Chi Master" for China. Instead he wanted to concentrate on his Hollywood career.

    Nice move, Jet...

Shame this movie blows, I love the first 2 but I'm not suprised about the reviews as Rob Cohen is a guaranteed to suck any signs of life or excitement from his movies.

Just came back from it, it's ok, after seeing Dark Knight, every other movie is "ehhh". It was good, but didn't like that they didn't cast the original girl. No chemistry with them at all! And the son looked as old as his father. Bad casting!

Not really great. But still makes a serviceable popcorn movie. Very blockbuster-y. I expect the same from the Star Wars movie.

I had a lot of fun. Laughed, cheered, even teared up a little. I think I prefered the original actress as Eveey, but the new girl did a good job and I liked the little nod to the change in the beginning.

Not great cinema, but great fun. Recomended for fans of the franchise. :)

I had fun--a lotta fun, actually--but the dude playing their son annoyed the crap out of me. It felt like he was trying too hard. Maria Bello also didn't really do it for me, which is something I thought I would never hear myself say EVER. The Yeti was the best part (I was surprised, the preview made them look like bad guys) and stuff like Jet Li pulling his face off & throwing it was pretty cool.

I would like to see them in Peru now, though.

I saw the movie last weekend. It was ok for me. There are some good humor in the movie, especially with the yak on the plane. I heard on friday the fourth movie will be a direct to DVD. So I am hoping for something in the Peruvian jungles in the fourth film.

I thought the movie was simply awful. To me it is in the running with The Happening for worst movie of the year so far (I didn't see The Love Guru). The acting was horrible, the writing was horrible, the new lady did not work AT ALL. The action wasn't exciting in the least. It was really just a very, very stupid movie. I liked the first two, and thought this might be decent, but it was really awful. I actually almost fell asleep for awhile. Kristen did pass out for most of it.

Last I checked, with about 120 reviews in, Rottentomatoes.com gave it a 9%. That's only of the lowest ratings for that many reviews I've ever seen.

Awful, awful movie. Took everything that made the first movie great, swallowed it, crapped it back out, and smeared it on the screen.

Heard it was garbage but my wonderful Jet Li is in it so I'll probably watch it for him <3
