Not worth the trade off tbh. Hasbro has the better eyes.

 

Great review from only the reveal pictures! I feel like a few of the cons that do exist aren't really all that bad. I think it is interesting to note that Bee, Prime, and Barricade took a lot of transformation cues from their predecessors. Ironhide never even had a good enough predecessor to take very many cues from at all! It will be interesting to see how he transforms.

 

I know I'm double dipping here but still.

Can anyone who has both MPM Bee and 07/RotF Ironhide do a vehicle mode comparison shot?

Edit - Delved back into the MPM Ironhide thread to grab this... In comparison to your pictures Lukelbs i think it's fair to say this Ironhide will scale well with the earlier mainline stuff before this Big Shrink of DotM. Which is a big bonus for me, at least.

Why does Ironhide not have blue clearance lights, though? That's really bothering me.

 

Only the lights on his roof are wrong. That's a quick fix.

 

This has to be my favorite gift from this year's Christmas! Funny story actually. We were driving up to Oklahoma, because that's our little get together tradition with our grandparents, and my Uncle had no clue what to get me. Because of how hectic it's been here this year, we kinda put it on the back burner. So we were doing last minute shopping and we found a toys r us. Me and my Uncle were just aimlessly looking, and what do I find right there in the TF section. This guy! (And the 3 Prime masters and Seaspray) my Uncle bought him for me as my Christmas gift, and he is awesome. Only nitpicks are: don't like the weapon storage, but that's not that big of a deal, and the bloody transformation! I barely got halfway before I called it quits. Otherwise, I love this guy!

 

I remember the feeling I got when I first pulled him out. It was probably the best feeling I’ve ever had during my time as a collector.

 

When I first felt those ratchets, man, it felt so good!

He’s just so gorgeous. The shine of this guy really puts Bumblebee to shame.

Did you mod ravage? I did the same pic and thought that ravage is pinned.

 

I did. I added a ball joint by his hips and one for his neck at the expense of his transformation. But he can do some cool poses now!
