There where Ospreys in the movie, but no transforming osprey planes.

There could be an Osprey TF toy out there somewhere but I wouldnt know that one.

Ooo I see... the planes were there, but do not transform... never mind

As for the toy, I think I saw a prototype of the toy in the botcon 2007 pics..

The osprey is a chopper...it is what the soldiers were riding near the beginning of the movie (2 rotors).

...and I reckonthis could be a very cool transformer.

In one of the original scripts, Soundwave was going to be this!!!

Ospreys are confusing planes. They can be choppers too. :)

From the prototype pics, IIRC, it looks as though the wings/rotors become his hands and arms.....that is so damn cool.

It's along the same line as the transforming towtruck (LONGARM). Hasbro are exploiting non-transforming vehicle appearances from the film to create original characters. A good idea in my opinion.

And this won't be the first Osprey we've had in the toylines... but I think it might be the first one larger than a minicon, unless I'm mistaken.

We also saw A-10 Warthogs, F-16s (my personal favorite) and a crap load of other planes aboard the aircraft carriers. C'mon Hasbro!!! You said you're going to drag out the movie line until the end of next summer. You have a great opportunity here.

The company I work for, makes Ospreys. So when I saw them in the very first scene of the movie, it was very exciting for me.

Interestingly the Ospray will be named Incinerator, which I believe was a name used for Blackout earlier.

It's been confirmed by Hasbro's Future Products Panel at Botcon that apart from the Osprey, we'll also be getting the Sector 7 SUV and the Sector 7 dune buggy. Who knows what else they might have in the works?
