I enjoy the episode, but it mostly sticks in my mind because of the sledgehammer of Powerglide's ever-changing size. Apart from that it's fun and has interesting story ideas.

Powerglide always had that problem, although admittedly it was worse in that episode. Compare his size in Dinobot island, where his cockpit is about the right size, to how he appears in Blaster Blues, where suddenly there's room to stand up and walk around his cockpit. I miss G1s flexible sense of scale. :D

The episode where Prime revives Elita One by "plugging into" her was always at the top of my list, it just seemed suggestive somehow.

I appreciate your willingness to help, but I know what I wrote. And what I said in reply to you was a paraphrase/capsulization of what I already said.

And sorry, but I see nothing there where it says I didn't like that episode. Someone having a critical opinion of something doesn't automatically mean they didn't like it.

Also, my post included the word "ARGUABLY." The topic of this thread isn't about which one is the worst episode, but specifically the most shameful scene. And the scene involving Powerglide shoving Astoria is--in my humble opinion--the most shameful scene in all of Transformers animated TV history, and yes for me that would include being more shameful than weird, stupid, asinine moments from such episodes as B.O.T. and Carnage In C-Minor.

    I really dont remember any.

I remember a few where he jumped and while in the air transformered and landed in someones hand but I dont remember seeing any episode where he flew while in gun mode.

I remember one episode where Soundwave flew in alt mode.

The most shameful scene for me is the "I can't deal with that now" piece.

I find it incredibly amazing how many people can STILL misunderstand Optimus Prime's moral code and the choice he made there. I expected no less from him.

I don't remember any actual flying, but he sort of floated and fired by himself in the G1 opening sequence. Although didn't he also float up once in gun mode and attach to the underside of a Seeker? I might've imagined that second one. I'm not sure. :p

Yeah, its a disgrace that people died in a story about a war.

This is incredible. Ask any of my friends and they'll tell you I tend to have a pretty filthy mind & see double-entendres in EVERYTHING, yet I'd never picked up on any of these. You guys have dirtied Transformers for me. Thankyou.

The way Rodimus Prime dealt with the destruction of Cybertron in Headmasters. Conveniently appointin' a new guy as the Autobot leader in the worst possible moment and leaving on a road trip with his best buddies himself. Also proved to be at least a bit of a sexist jerk at the same time.

How's that for demonstration of leadership? :)

Definately that, everybody hates Hot Rod/Rodimus for "killing" Prime, but this was far a worst moment.

Also, when Soundwave and Galvatron were flying holding hads...

see, i liked that, it finally actually felt like there was a war going on (like the attack on Autobot City in the movie). Too bad a good chunk of the art was pretty damn horrible
funny that you talk about Prime being misunderstood there, but i feel like that Ultra Magnus line always gets misunderstood and blown out of proportion: They are under attack and he's trying his damnedest to save HIS crew, cuz they are his direct and immediate responsibility ~ he can't take his concentration away from that to worry about the other ship while they are getting their own @$$es shot off.

Ultra Magnus is a dick in G1, about as much of a dick as Sentinal Prime.
