Megatron Movie 1.

Prime hadn't arrived yet so he wasn't able to retreat.  

They all panicked when Starscream showed up also.

Wrong, his arrival didn't change a thing, him FIGHTING did. Shockwave turned the tide of the battle by pretty much being there.

Panic =/= retreat.

 

What? He lands in an alley and comes out and they specifically say "Its Megatron retreat!" It was almost exactly like when Shockwave shows up.

I wasn't implying that they were retreating just when Starscream arrives they were very alarmed of his presence. Something similar.

 

I think you are confusing scenes, that's after, when he is already fighting.

Actually it's literally as he walks out of the alley. I remember because the scene made me laugh how Ratchet's like "It's Megatron, retreat!" just as he pokes his head out. Imagine he like backs back into the alley and Ratchet's all "Nope, false alarm, you can stay put." And he pokes his head out again "IT'S MEGATRON RE-" he ducks back in "Never mind, he-" sticks his hand out "IT'S MEGATRON'S HAND-"

He arrives in the city and the first thing Ratchet says is retreat. I dunno what you mean, but that is the first thing on his arrival to the "battlefeild".

 

Haha, that would be something great to see on Robot Chicken.

 

Jetfire and Jolt

 

A couple Decepticons:

Devastator: without him, the Harvester would still be buried under rubble.

Starscream: Without him, the Xanthium would fly to God knows where.

Frenzy: Remember that hacking thing he did in Movie 1?

 

Unfortunately, Balder, I've got to go against you on this one. Yes, Shockwave's "pretty much being there" was quite devastating (for the lack of a more accurate word at the time). But so was TF1 Megatron. As Split Lip and adamid4 said, it's literally a matter of Megatron walking onto the scene and everyone being like "Oh shi-!"; just like the situation with Shockwave. So I both agree and disagree with you.   Forgive me.

Major   at that.

 

I stand corrected then: Shockwave was so badass he can only be matched by Megatron himself [which is still not as badass when you consider Optimus and the Wreckers were present when Shockwave came like a boss upon everything].

 

Im gonna have to say topspin, his silence was just a cover for his true intentions....TOTAL UNIVERSE DOMINATION.

And he still gets a similar reaction! How awesome is that!

After drinking your milkshake, I notice that I AM RIDING A FUCKING MECHANICAL WORM LIKE IF IT'S A GODDAMN HORSE, therefore, I am freaking cool.

Same goes for Shockwave and Megs.

 

haha I never said Shockwave or the Driller weren't cool.

Just lone Megatron and Shockwave with the driller get similar reactions from the autobots. Which is a nice way to top Megatron, without really topping him.

 

I'm still really disappointed we didn't get a Jetfire incontience gag based on the SR71's tendency to leak fluids while not in flight.

 

My vote's for Wheelie (and Brains). Wheelie single-handedly led the Autobots to Jetfire in ROTF, enabling Optimus to win the battle at day's end. Same for DOTM - Wheelie and Brains crashed that Decepticon ship, giving Bumblebee a chance to fight back and turn the tides.
