Is huge tonight.
I took this picture just less than an hour ago.
Im too lazy to go look. I was even outside when the moon was out.
Dude that's way bigger on my screen than in real life! You're right!
oh wow, that is a big moon...hey, why am i growing hair and claws UH OH OH AH ARRRROOOOOOOOOO
just kidding, guys. it was either that or turning into a giant gorilla.
I just braved a cold Pennsylvania winter to pop out on my porch and take a look - in my bare feet.
The moon is huge tonight. Totally worth it.
Damn it! I really wanna see the Moon tonight! It is suppose to look bigger than it usually does, not only because it is full, but also because it is the closest to Earth in years.
Of course, it's very cloudy outside where I live, so I am unable to see it. And it won't be this close to Earth again until 2016.
It's raining/snowing here right now. I see no big moon.
That's no moon.
...Yes it is.
Listen to it talk...
Canada has no pity for you.
im dumb, but why do we only see one side of the moon and never the other side, how does it not spin and stay in orbit? I never really understood that
Saw it last night - awesome stuff, you don know the moon never changes size, it's always the same size. Your mind makes it look bigger when it's on the horizon. Try putting your thumb and forefinger above it and below it when it's on the horizon, then do it again later when it's higher in the sky.
It will be the same size.
It spins, but just at a rate that when it orbits the earth the same side faces us. If it didn't spin, different sides would face the earth as it orbited around us.
I missed it.
