Been meaning to post a pic of my home 'office' for a couple of months now - ever since I got the Gates of Iacon shelves back up:

    IMG_6073.jpg

The TV on the desk is only hooked up to a DVD player with the G1 series
These are the Ekby Mossby shelves from Ikea, in stainless steel:

    IMG_6074.jpg

Right now the lower shelf is usually the 'action' shelf, while the top shelf is for chilling :lol

Pretty nice views from when I'm sitting working:

    IMG_6076.jpg

I know it's a pretty 'light' display but sometimes it still feels so cluttered! I like the figures to have their space to shine. I may end up moving the 'toy' squad somewhere else, especially once 36+ arrives.

One thing about action shots is that so many TFs have long-range weapons. I think I need to ditch the rifles more often and have them posed in fisticuffs, gotta mix things up a little! It's one thing I love about Prime and Megatron's melee weapons - OPv3 can't get here soon enough. In the meantime, an energon axe just about balances on MP-22's forearm

I was really impressed with MP-42 Cordon after I unboxed. But I have to say with MP-17+ Prowl, I'm a little underwhelmed. The flat white paint app is not very impressive in hand, and there is a bit of sloppiness in other areas of the paint and the accessories.

Not up to the standards I was expecting, but will see how it goes when I transform to bot mode.

It looks great and even if it's "light" I'm highly jealous! We converted our office space to a nursery five years ago so I currently have no display area at all. My wife and I have tentatively agreed to a space where I can permanently put in display shelving but it's currently inaccessible until we do some other rearranging. Thanks for posting what kind of shelves they are, I might look into this as I need something simple and inexpensive but still hopefully attractive.

Nice, simple display Sam. I see what you did there with Ultra Magnus.

Great shot of Delta Magnus! I miss that bastard, he's on my to-buy-back list.

    Did someone say Doc Ratchet?

You guys get what I'm going for. I was tempted to give Megatron his shouting face, but I figured he would be enjoying himself too much not to show that.

Hopefully you'll get something sorted soon. They're pretty cool shelves. The steel is only on one side of them, I actually have the top shelf mounted upside down because I like the effect of a reflective 'ceiling' for the bottom shelf. They do look pretty classy, all inspired by the gates of Iacon from the pilot:

After my 'failed' cartoon accurate MP-10 custom, I purchased a loose one from Animetropolis on ebay, who was parting them out figure/trailer/gun/roller separately. MP-10 is sold on now, but that loose one I bought came with an energon axe that I kept as a spare. Magnus couldn't resist giving it a whirl.

By the way, love what you and @TCracker did together with that Good Cop Bad Cop comic! Between your knack for G1-esque scripts, and TC's visual storytelling, it's like a match made in heaven. You two should team up more often!

Careful Sam, you may create a monster. I love the way @TCracker frames his stories and the way he storyboards them makes for great presentation. I did rewrite that script a few times, actually, the script evolved from some cheesy TV plot as a skeleton to its final product. If TC is game, I’m game for the occasional Transformer Team-Up

I don't think there's a hyperventilating smiley breathing into a bag, but if there were, I'd just have posted it here. Gorgeous shots!

I was a little underwhelmed straight out of the packaging. But this new MP-17+ Prowl does come into its own in bot mode. I prefer the original in car mode due to an overall better paint app and details. But in bot mode I prefer this new version. Video review coming soon so stay tuned :)

Love love love these shots! I'm not gonna get back into collecting the Diaclone repaints, but I love the 'alternate' reality that the present. They could just have easily have shown these colour schemes for all of the pictured bots - imagine a cartoon where Red Alert and Sunstreaker were police cars instead! Or where Tracks was a girl, Wheeljack was a cygarette smoking Decepticon, and Bluestreak was actually blue :bay

Not long now until anime Shockwave comes along to kick their butts.

I already contacted Kapow asking to pay off the rest of the deposit but they said not yet - but the release date is only 15 days away!

Also well done on giving 14+ the spark accessory from MP-14, I've been wanting to see that for a while now :thumb
