    Just got in my target master HotRod and it's cemented my plans for my collection, I'm planning on a G1-CHUG-MP lineup, kinda like this.

    I've read Maz's write up about the Hot Rod reissue but didn't think it was now available. How many copies did you find?

    No, this is a Takara re-release I bought from a group, not the new re-release from Walmart. weird that with all the re-releases this was my first time touching a Hot Rod in years.

    Not so nice for a wallet though- are you going for completionist using all MP molds as the character list (since they will likely be the limiting factor at this point)?

    Thanks man, anyone who's been privy to my postings probably understands what this means to me. Hoping to finally get the decision on the 12th and then I'll finally be a resident!
    Thanks I actually am using MP and 3P and I have most of the figures I want to use already, the ones that are going to hurt me are ones like Artfire and Scourge!

    I'm not going to be a completionist though otherwise my rules would mean, for example, no Arcee ever because there was never a G1 figure and no Arcee in my collection is not happening!.

    Also I'll still have some odds and sods collections they just won't be the main focus.

    Is it weird that I'm drawn most to the one non-MP in that picture? All of them are cool, but that Brainstorm is so gosh darn pretty I think I'm going on ebay to grab one right now.

    Not weird at all! That figure is fantastic and looks great with my MPs on the shelf! I think picking him up is a great idea!
