Welp got MP38. Hopefully should arrive in the weekend
I'd suggest you wait until they actually release a Lio Convoy.
It was cheap. 8200 yen. Not bad and I like the blue on the deco
What low budget (under $80) camera would you guys recommend?
Photos of your one might help us
Has BW Megatron MP been up for pre-order anywhere?
Been a while since I posted in here - you guys can all do better photos of big robots than me.
However, I've been painting up the mini Diecast Optimus Prime that came with MP Inferno.
He came with an MP and is based on MP10, so I consider it close enough of an MP figure to go in here
I made a radicons thread for him: Minor/Repaint: - Painted Diecast MP Optimus Prime
Wish there had been more of these, rather than go back to the coins. Ok, the figures they did do were a little dodgy in parts, but I liked them and was looking forward to a secondary TF collection.

How did you come in possession of Buzzsaw? Sold as a set, single item or trade off? How much did you pay for him? I have a TT, Hasbro and KO version. I'll take some comparison shots for you. There are some molding issues on the KO. Not as sharp as the officials and the plastic is a tad bit thicker in areas. The wings will be the most noticeable. The paint and coloration is decent at best.
Here are a few pictures to help you identify your copy.
Hasbro Buzzsaw has a broken tailfin which prompted me to get the KO.
The color differences become apparent here. The Hasbro copy being the lighter of the three with the KO copying the TT Buzzsaw since the Hasbro version wasn't released at the time.
Just a picture of the TT(left) and the KO(right). The KO chest/body isn't as detailed as the TT and Hasbro(not pictured) version(s). The KO is a little more rounded out in the center as well.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for this. It’s very kind of you to take the time to do this.
To give you a little background I have owned the original release of mp16 since day one and they’ve better days due to numerous transformations. The cassettes have always been some of my favourite transformers and I had the opportunity to get the reissues for a decent price. I purchased the reissue set from eBay. They’re easily identified due to the design award logo on the box.
The thing that caught my eye was some very slight mold differences on Buzzsaw. In the picture you can see the original release at the top and the reissue below. Notice how there are two extra molded rectangles on the reissue. Also the colour is very slightly different. Otherwise it seems legit.
Also, I originally posted my request in the reissue thread but a mod moved it here. I’m aware it’s not really masterpiece appreciation as such in case anyone wondered why my post is in here.
What do you think? Is it legit?
Nice shots! And here I thought MP10 couldn't do the 2 handed gun hold - many cited that as a reason for wanting a V3
Thanks! I actually didn't know he could do it either, but I was messing around for a bit and stumbled across that pose. Though, it's not as smooth as it looks.
Also, as your name implies, you're a BW fan. If you have any of the MPs, how would you recommend them? I'm definitely investing in Megatron, and Dinobot has also caught my interest. Wondering what others' thoughts are.
I think Primal is great. My feelings with Cheetor are mixed. I had trouble with his transformation to bot mode (clearance issues) and his Right shoulder becomes unpegged too easily, so I got turned off by the figure and put him in storage. I need to revisit him and re-evaluate him I think.
The upcoming Dinobot looks great in bot mode, but the price is a big turnoff TBH.
BW Megatron looks fantastic so far.
I think it’s worth dipping into BW with the primal mold though since he would make a great stand alone figure and can really pair with any of the figures so far
No problem. Gave me an excuse to go outside today.
Those rectangles are weird. I don't see them on any of my copies. Maybe those were added for the 2nd but as far as calling it a KO or not, can't really say. The paint lines look sharper than a KO would normally be. It may very well be an official Buzzsaw.
