Finally got a chance to take some Sunstreaker pics!

Seems like Tracks is getting shown a little love now that Sunstreaker is out. Those two pair up great together.

 

Anyone remember this book?

 

Been looking about, is MP Prowl just no longer available these days?

 

They really do! Though I have always loved Tracks. Never really understood the hate.

 

Love how a new release always gives this thread a kick in the pants! Awesome shots all around, everyone!

Wish they could all pull off a kneel this beautifully.

 

Sunstreaker definitely seems like he's taken people by storm, maybe even more so than Megatron? Maybe.....

I really hope Police Sunstreaker, and Black Ironhide are Decepticons.

 

Seems that MPM-4 can also pull off a kneeling pose. Don't mind that the photo was taken in the dining room and that I'm in the background eating breakfast.

 

 

How dare you! Police Sunstreaker maybe, with his red eyes and all. But Black Ironhide? Sacriledge!

I think an MP-27B will just be called Protect Black Ironhide, and be the same character in homage to the 2008 ehobby release:

"The new bio accompanying the release of the toy notes that Ironhide acquired this protective black coating to disguise himself from both Decepticons and members of the human criminal underworld, to better allow him to do his job as Optimus Prime's bodyguard. The bio also gives a name to the "mode" that consists of Ironhide standing atop his artillery platform, dubbing it his "Marauder Mode"."

All I know is he'd better come with his arm-drill and three-pronged hand attachments for ol' red:

Btw, I know the red cylindrical attachments are supposed to toy homages, but iirc I remember they also look like what he used in a brief scene in B.O.T. I was excited when I spotted it  

 

Man you're so eagle-eyed. One of these days I need to download the series, just need to find $40 that I'd rather not spend on an MP instead

Of all Diaclone repaints Police Sunstreaker will always be highest on my list. It's been a while since we have seen a Diaclone repaint and with the focus on Beast Wars their days might be numbered.

I was about to say maybe the turn towards cartoon accuracy has seen a decrease in repaints but Tracks, who was arguably one of the first releases really focused on toon accuracy has two Diaclone repaints!

Might just be they needed to spin the earlier moulds as much as they could as the rebooted line was finding its feet.

 

So Sunny has taken up the interest to use Kylo's lightsaber? Hopefully that the flame emitters don't destroy is paintjob otherwise we'll hear no end to his rants!
