Well ho lee SHIT. THANK YOU. I've had them pulled out all this time, but I didn't know they could be pulled out that far! Huge improvement to the figure! He's my deskbot today, thanks to you, brother! Your Shockwave shoulder discovery, Bluestreak's cannons... I feel like there were at least one or two more hidden features you've found in these figures I'm forgetting. What an asset to the community!
Thanks, bro! The height difference is cool. Sometimes they were a little closer in height in the cartoon, and sometimes not.
I just want a Wheeljack+
I never registered that height difference to be honest
Heh, you know I still remember way back when you pointing out Soundwave's legs were facing the wrong way on someone's photo. I was doing the same as that other poster because those forward ratchets were so tight I really didn't believe they worked, but thanks to your little tip I got it all figured out. What goes around comes around
whats the wrong way?
I see people's collection showcases here and I am jealous. I wish I could have as many, I've only got 4 MP's (Prowl, Bluestreak, Thundercracker and Soundwave). That's nothing compared to what most of you have. And I can't even buy more cause of some financial situations, and I've thought about selling my MP's to help me financially.
A collection of even one figure is a great collection.
I don't even have one my favourite Autobots (Wheeljack and Optimus)
After a month of dithering I finally got around to putting on the hip upgrades for Ironhide and Ratchet. I didn't really have a problem with the hip flaps but I figured if I didn't like them I could always sell them. The differences in looks are negligible for me but I like the extra movement it gives the legs. Not that I've used it here.
" Are these the herbs we're looking for Ratchet? "
" No, my sensors indicate that these are meant for consumption, mainly on pizza. They will come in handy shortly after we've found our target. "
" How shortly? "
" About an hour, give or take. Now let's get inside and check the guitar case before the miniaturization wears off. "

Sorry to hear that Macross. Hope things turn around for you soon.
Like this is wrong
Maybe you'd be happier selling off the ones you have and starting again when you have the money with your favourites? I, and am sure many others, have done something similar before. The beauty of this thread is that you can come in here and appreciate the MPs that you don't have, as well as those you do.
It can be an expensive line, but that means if you need to sell them at least you can actually get decent money for them. Couldn't see myself collecting any other TF line either (any other toy line period), which makes it a lot easier to justify the price.
When I moved over to Russia all I brought with me was Ironhide and Shockwave, and there was definitely something beautiful about having a simple collection like that. And around the time that Ramjet came out I had a pretty complete post MP-10 collection (was only missing MP-10B), but just having those two figures with me in a new country brought me more joy and comfort than having 20 bots lined up on a shelf ever did. Quality over quantity, definitely applies to a line as quality as Masterpiece.
Yeah, I've made that mistake with Soundwave before.
I actually used to twist them the other way from that photo, so that the inner sides were facing forwards. That way there was no unpainted plastic showing. He was my first MP after MP-1 and I was so nervous how tight that ratchet joint was at the thigh - didn't want to rip his legs off!
Yeah, I agree. I only have Soundwave, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Starscream so far.
I love them all.....
