Great Post! I agree about Marvel Prime being the weakest...but he was also more fleshed out as a cheracter than some of the other G1 incarnations. However, that video game death issue was ridiculous.

 

I guess movie Prime, though I like most of them.

 

I'll have to pick two:

RiD Prime
-or-
Classics Voyager - looks like he means business.

Seriously though, Rodimus was an interesting character. I always liked that he was a young, flawed leader. Definetly brought something new to the mythos.

 

Cybertron Optimus, because he has massive guns and he's pretty much a walking homage to almost OP's before and after him.

 

Movie Prime looks really cool, but I like War for Cybertron the most.

 

Classics Prime is my favorite. Looking for a Henkei Prime if anyone has one.

 

God Ginrai, G1, RID, Movie and Cybertron.

 

If its about the looks then Galaxy Convoy wins. His design is magnificient. Plus in Super Mode its just EPIC. ^^ The second coolest Prime would be War For Cybertron Prime. I cant pick a 3rd choice :S

 

I despise Animated Primes design.
The Unicron Triolgy had some interesting looks for him, and while none of them were my favorite, Armada's Prime had a very pleasing visual aesthetic.
Generation 1 Prime looked pretty unappealing in the animation, but any concept art, or modern day spin on that design, and I love it.
War for Cybertron? Eh. In the game he was a bit to blocky, he looked decent in the toy, but the design just never screamed Prime for me. Thats why he's my Orion Pax...
TF rime is quite appealing, but the lack of nose, the spindly nature of the legs, and the Terminator 2 face, just annoys me. But when his faceplate is on, sign me up.

But in the end, Movie Prime has everything for me.
Heroic stature, gorgeous cgi, wonderful head, awesome weapons, and a beautiful alternate mode, and I'm happy.

 

G1 because he was the original.

 

G1, Classics, RID, Binaltech, PM Ops, WFC Ops. Yeah, all the rest are swill. And someone please flog whomever said Rodimus earlier.

 

Coolest looking Optimus Prime for me is Armada Optimus Prime

Movie Prime looks awesome, but Animated Prime is full of personality. Prime Prime is a nice blend of the previous two while still being distinct, but RiD Prime is refreshingly different. Cybertron Prime is nice and chunky, but G1 Prime is just classic. Ah, feck it: all Optimii look awesome in their own way, IMO.

 

I like G2 Laser Optimus Prime.

Cybertron Optimus Prime
TF07 Movie Optimus Prime.

This goes both as cartoon and toy (while I do prefer PM O.P toy).

 

Definitely the original G1, followed by Powermaster Prime. Accept no substitutes.

 

Classic G1 Prime for me.
