Does "tall Soundwave" still stand when you don't have him propped against a wall? Honest question, I'm considering buying the figure just for that pose.
Wow, kinda want him now. I wish I was this creative with my toys. I often get stuck in a "factory-intended" rut.
There are just so many moving parts and design elements that don't seem to make sense. Don't get me wring, I think he's a fun little toy, but things like his barrel shoulders seem like gimmicks that didn't get fleshed out. He's a great little complicated design...I just don't get why he's so complicated.
Hate to ask, but I'm using my phones browser, how do I do "taller mode". That looks so much better. My biggest problem has been his stature.
All those looked like his "crumpled up paper mode" to me. I'm seriously disapointed if this ends up being the only Soundwave figure. He is going to be HUGE in the movie, and they give him a toy that is smaller than Sideswipe? "ooo ooo that fail... can't you smell that fail?..that's the fail that surrounds him" This toy is kibbleriffic, and just plain fugly with all that shit sticking every which way. If they don't make him a better figure, this will either rival or surpass the epic fail that was deluxe Bonecrusher from TF07. At least Bonecrusher was never such an iconic character as Soundwave.
