Robotech was easily my favorite cartoon growing up. Because of it, my G1 Jetfire was/is my favorite G1 toy. Like others have already said the quality/play ability of Jetfire was superior to other g1 toys. In fact, I scratched off the Autobot nosecone logo and I also remember removing a screw so I could easily open the canopy. Good times!
Ha, yeah I just started watching it, I never was able to see all the episodes when I was younger so its cool to finally see the whole run.
Great figure! I really wish they would put out a Sheryl and Ranka in regular figuarts form. A little hard to pose with all the crap hanging off her. Looking forward to completing the team.

I was thinking more along the lines of one of her AI personas (preferably the one below) but a SHF of the box would be pretty funny and I'd totally buy it.
That ET Legioss was supposed to come out in July, but I havent seen any advance looks or reviews for it. Id really like some info about it before I take a chance on one. I wonder if the prod is delayed?
I recently rewatched it on Netflix and I think I can explain why this is. The Netflix version is NOT the one that was shown on US broadcast TV. I mean I think I would have remembered all the full frontal naked Dana Sterling shower scenes in most Southern Cross episodes when I was a teenager. That kinda thing tended to catch my attention back then. We really didn't get all that much cartoon nudity in the after school hours in the 80's. So yeah be warned. While the initial "Macross" series is pretty clean, the second portion the Southern Cross/Robotech Masters series has quite a bit of lead character bare boobs. Basically 1 scene reused frequently. There is a little bit of nudity in the Mospeada version as well, but only for an episode or two.
The day we get a pair of poseable Hikaru and Minmay action figures, is the day I make a stop motion video reenacting animation's finest moment: THE MINMAY SLAP!
Yeah, I was kind of hoping someone would get an advance copy and do a review somewhere. We seem to get that plenty for TF figures, its too bad Macross bots are too niche to get the same treatment.
Yeah, I think the best we can hope for is a review a few days before it's available - at least I think that's how the VF2SS was. We've gotten spoiled with 3rd Party companies that send test shots and final products out to reviewers to build hype. Would definitely be nice if Macross and other properties enjoyed that kind of treatment. That said, I am already getting my pressurized flight suit ready for this as I have decided to be a test pilot. I'm a damn fool for the Legioss, even when it's arguably one of the worst transforming toy companies making it. >_< So yeah, I might be taking a bullet for you guys. Or a torpedo.
They do make a ton of other seemingly high quality figures, maybe they wont do such a bad job as last time they tried the 2SS.... For your sacrifice I offer this video clip: You're a great American. This nation owes you a huge debt.
