Seeing Shinobitron's Batmobile gave me the urge to post this universe melder.

I made this guy back in May, right around the time of the movie. My local Dollar Tree was flooded with cheap pull-back Mach 5's. I thought it would be cool to make a Mach 5 transformer. Who never wanted to see that?

I took a Cybertron Clocker, removed the windshield. Took the cheap Mach 5, split it up into different chunks, epoxied the shell onto Clocker. Sculpted the sides, bumper, and fender with quicksteel to connect the body with the shell. Gave it a Mach 5 deco, slapped some stickers on, and there we have.

Note, this was my second transformer custom figure that I ever did. I know that the paint job isn't as smooth as it could be. I do, however, have plans to redo one of these if I can ever get another clocker...

I've been wanting to get my hands on a 1:18 diecast Mach 5 and reshell it with an Alternator, probably Tracks, about two years ago, but had totally forgotten about it... Thanks for reminding me!

    And your custom RAWX

That idea might work well for doing a classics RC.

i was under the impression that cybertron override vehicle mode was for all intents and purposes a heavily stylised take on the mach 5

Yes, I thought about that possibility. An alteration that would need to be made is to cut down the two sides of the front end. I think that this same shell would be neat to use to make a 60's batmobile.

    Thanks everyone for the comments!
