MAIDEN JAPAN was in the house and he brought his Custom Optimus Prime with him and yes, it does transform!



This has to be THE best Custom Optimus Prime out there, but I'll let you be the judge...

I seriosly thought nothing would be sicker than fansproject shadow scythe, but im literally addicted to maiden japan junkion upgrades. after getting my 1st order i have a much better understanding of what i will need for my 2nd order (after spending countless hours switching and swapping parts) i definently need a orange chest shield and a all sand dude with 2nd head, but anyways you can tell that this display is not finished but a WIP also curamen dont tell no one but look closely at the wheelshield on my ehobby junkion shhhhhhh

 

sooooo, is botcon the next meet-up!!!?

 

yep curamen is planning it now it will be at the v.t.c's hotel it looks like, our rooms are just across the street from botcon. will be awesome to see a bunch of your customs in person cant wait. by the way love the whole "im a work in progress" thats so customizer of you  

 

So nobody took pics of the new Wreck Ga Maiden Japan stuff? It's not clear, but it looks like the exclusive head might be the generic Junkion head from the MTMTE profiles?

Met Stan Bush tonight in Woodland Hills

Thats right, Stan Bush was playing a very low key acoustic set at an Italian restaurant in Woodland Hills Tonight and I was there!

 

Botcon is a day away... Good times everyone and see you guys there!  

 

Ill be there at least one day, probably Sunday. 

 

Going all four days, is there a SoCal meet up group that's going to gather?

 

@Karhukjnsi... A few of us will be going to the TFW2005 Meet-Up on Friday.  

With Botcon happening in this month, the next L.A. Meet-Up will be sometime in August so please feel free to let people know and get the word around!

It was awesome hanging out with everyone and meeting new people.

Intro

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to the boards and to the group. I met Ali/Curamen at Botcon this past weekend, my first ever Botcon, had a great time. Thanks for inviting me to join the group. I'm in the San Diego area, and would love to attend one of the LA meetups some day.

A little about me - I'm an old school G1 fan from the 1980's, hence the handle name. I'm a G1 purist, and love collecting the original toys, reissues, modern updates, etc. I've been a fan since 1984, and have had a lot of love for TF since I was a kid, while growing up, and now into adulthood. After a hiatus during the teen years and college, I started collecting again about 10 years ago. I'm now in my 30's and am married with a family, and my love for TF is as strong as ever. It means a lot to pull out my TF toys, both old and new, and have my little one stare at them in amazement. It's great to pass on the love. I've actually put pen to paper before on what I love about Transformers, I'll share it sometime if folks are interested, it's pretty long though. Look forward to meeting folks.
