BrickLink - Part 23448 : Lego Windscreen 8 x 4 x 2 Curved with Handle [Windscreen] - BrickLink Reference Catalog It came out this year.
Got the Lego City service truck from Target.com since it was on sale last week and got free shipping and 5% off with RedCard Been working on the Disney Castle a couple hours a day this week. Gonna try to finish by tomorrow night since I'll be in Disneyland on Saturday. Also Tuesday Morning is advertising that they will have the Lego Pirates Soldiers Fort for $12.99 this Sunday. Good deal considering it was originally a $29.99 set
Picked up the new A-Wing pilot polybag along with the Rogue One hovertank. Nice little figure, and the helmet has tie fighter kill markers on the back! Sweet!
As you should, it's an awesome set. Putting the big stickers on is a little nerve wracking, but that's thing "difficult" about it.
That's a fun set. GR and his bike are excellent. Thanks for the warning about the stickers. This is the most expensive Lego set I've ever bought. Looking forward to a whole Boba Fett Lego scene with this, the carbon chamber and the old Jabba's Prize sets I have.
Yeah, I have my little chamber displayed with it as well. I think it was my second $200 set.. I think the first one was the tumbler. The back of the slave 1 is just awesome. I really need to get one of those spinning bases. I also love the stand that's included. I wish all Lego ships also included a stand build.
The leaks continue: top row: first 3 are Vermilion, from next year's Ninjago; female driver from City. bottom row: Macy 2017 ; unknown; Calendar Man and Kite Man from The lego batman movie (possibly the CMF series)
The stand was a selling point to me too. Although, I might eventually get a Yeti adapter to put it on one of those stands.
Just went by my local Target and the minifigures rack was completely full of series 16 figures. Has anyone noticed the bubles on the bottom of the back of the packaging? All my Mariachi band members have the same pattern (one bubble on the right side and two diagonal dots on the left side with the left dot on the top).
Do a google search for something like "minifigure dot codes" and this will come up. Some people think this is a good way to tell which figure you are getting, but others say that the dot codes can vary within a particular series based on manufacture date or production run. Basically, it's not a sure-fire method on its own. I have found them to be helpful in supplementing the 'feel test' for figures that are similar or lack a defining part or feature. I used the dot codes to supplement my feels when I first got into minifigures, but I can get near 100% accuracy with feel alone these days.
This...I found the dot codes to be inconsistent, even within a same batch (when I was going for the Disney set). Feel method has been 100% for me.
