Same, I haven’t been able to get it yet. I pretty much gave up on it. It ALWAYS falls right next to her.

I got the damn thing on my actual carts and maxed out my hearts, I don't remember it being this annoying though. The real trick is getting her to appear somewhere that isn't a pain to deal with. Maple's ring is a huge help, but getting her to drop it closer to you than her is the real trick, but it is possible. I wish she'd dropped it before she got the damn vacuum though, that damn thing makes it ten times harder to beat her to things.

Playing BotW, I beat 3 more shrines, took 3 of my horses out for a ride, and got some monster essence.

My wife gave me Ocarina for the 3DS for Christmas. I’m almost not even looking forward to playing it because I’ve played through it at least five times since it came out on the 64. Curious to check out the differences though.

I've only played the 3DS release, so I can't judge differences, but that game is awesome.

It pretty much consumed my life when it first came out. Part time job, no wife/girlfriend, no kids. Any waking hour that I wasn’t at work was spent playing Ocarina. I don’t know if it’s my favorite these days (in the top three) but it’s certianly the one closest to my heart.

I miss the days when I was able to play Pokèmon Yellow obsessively like that.

I think it's worth it to play the 3DS version, especially if you enjoyed the N64 version. It's a great visual update to the original.

Majora's Mask 3DS on the other hand... While it is also a great visual update, they changed some of the mechanics with the transformation masks and ice arrows that I think would have been better if they'd kept it like the original version.

I just started playing and wow, is it ever! The depth of detail they added is amazing. Fully hooked all over again. Such a great game.

I wish I'd known ahead of time that A Link to the Past was as difficult as it is.
I'm on Desert Palace and just about everything is kicking my ass. Floor tiles, statues that shoot freaking laser beams, banana peels, and then the bosses are these screw you worms that you have to sword in the face.
And if you die, you have to navigate through enemies because having a quick Boss area teleport apparently wasn't an idea twenty-six years ago.

The Desert Palace isn't difficult. Or big. Now Turtle Rock, Skull Woods and the Ice Palace are annoying.

I only played LTTP through once or twice but I don't remember it being all that hard. To me the hardest thing in any of the old school Zelda games Was Zelda II, and specifically getting through Death Mountain to get the hammer. I remember that being very difficult. Of course, I was a kid when I first played it so that influences my memory I'm sure.

@Rewind Did you ever get Maple's Heart Piece? After finishing Jabu-Jabu this past weekend I finally nabbed it off of her, now I just need that Gasha Nut to produce one before I pick up the one in Labrynna's shop.

Holy hell was I extremely dense with Jabu-Jabu though. I spent over half an hour in the beginning forgetting what to do to get the first small key. In the end I had to look in my Official NP Player's Guide with it's tattered cover and torn out pages just to remember what to do... I had the right idea, but the wrong execution. Stupid diamond blocks in front of statues puzzle.

No, I gave up on Maple especially after she started flying on the saucer. I enjoyed Jabu Jabu though it was tricky. Coincidentally I am currently inside Jabu Jabu in Ocarina. I can’t believe with how many times I’ve played the game I still get flummoxed in there. Those jellyfish that float through the air towards you are easily one of most hated enemies. I can just run around them but then one shocks me and I end up hunting and hatemurdering all of them.

Oh hell, she got the UFO? Damn... were you by any chance using the Pegasus Seeds to speed up and prevent her from getting more stuff than you? Mine is still stuck on the Vacuum because of that little trick.

Yep, even with Pegasus seeds I couldn't get it. Of all the times I ran into her the heart only dropped two or three times and it was always so close to her that even with seeds I couldn't get there. I'm mostly maxed out on hearts so the effort it would take to get the heart piece from her doesn't seem worth it. She can keep it. :lol
