There's only one thing I really hate, the fact that they changed the frequency of the blood moon but I guess it makes me at least cycle through quests randomly instead listing a boring to do list.

The only thing I agree with in that list is pausing the action. Give the players that old school MH menu where you can not pause the game at all. The action is still going even when you use your menu. Non stop action to keep your gamer heart pumping.

I was going to raise my bullshit flag and decided to look in my actual LTTP manual.

Guess you learn something new everyday....

BTW that manual is frikkin awesome and it brought a tear to my eye that we can't have such nice things today.
I would dish out $70 a new game if they still came with print manuals :(

Not sure if third party games have them, but the worst part is that Switch games published by Nintendo have clips in the cases as if each box is screaming out "And here's where I'd keep my instruction manual... IF I HAD ONE!"

I really miss the manuals... I used to buy guides back in the day simply because of all the extra art they had. The internet kinda ruined the point of guides, though, so it makes me miss instructions even more now.

You now have to pay extra for printed materials.

I remember when music compilations were included just to make the packaging stand out.

And Nintendo done that a few years ago too with Skyward Sword.

Still, if printed material were excluded to simply keep the price points at $60, I'm sure there would be quite a few that would pay a little extra for games that did include them.

So I've heard about BOTW's testing on the 8 bit platform but I would love to actually see it in action :/

I did a lot of farming last night for upgrades (Hearty Bass, Stealthfin Trout, more Molduga guts, and Yellow Lizalfos tails). Now I need to farm Fire Keese wings and more Lynel guts. I'll save farming star fragments and dragon horns/shards for later.

1 more Divine Beast left, 5 shrines left, and only 640 Korok seeds to go!

I'm terrible at finding stars. However, every time I let my 5 year old daughter play we see one and then go grab it. It's like the game is saving them for her.

She loves this game and wants to play all the time. It's the first video game she's ever gotten into. Mostly she loves putting on the monster masks and having them follow her around while she feeds them fruits. :lol

Just got the last shrine last night. Now I need lots more dragon parts!

Where do you get the hearty bass and stealthfin trout?

Try the lake just under Tarrey town for the hearty bass.

Lake Saria in the Lost Woods I found to be a pretty good place to get stealthfin trout, and easy access with a shrine to warp directly to it.

I wonder if children under 10 can beat the Ganon boss rush?

Yup. That's where I went mostly. I found Hearty Bass earlier near some Zora waterfalls IIRC, too. Unless it was near the spring in the Faron region. Actually, for the Stealthfin Trout I went to the river-like moat that surrounds the whole Hyrule Forest there. It goes around the whole thing. I jumped from the Woodland Tower and just went along the shore closest to Hyrule Castle until I had enough.

The lake under Tarrey town has plenty of Hyrule Bass, Mighty Carp, Armored Carp, and Stamikona Bass (or whatever they're called). I know those aren't for upgrades, but obviously good for making meals with upgrades.

Also, the compendium tells you one or two common locations if you have a picture of whatever item you're looking for.

Remember the horse buyer in Gerudo? I'll try selling the lord of the mountain today and see what happens.

I'm guessing he won't buy it and probably say something about being cursed like the stable guy does.

hahaha probably but I`ll still try. LOL

He gave me 300 for his own horse on my first game.

I wonder how much Epona, royal or the huge will fetch.

    Maybe even a stall horse.

It would be nice if you can sell horses during the game not just once.
