This is TOTALLY off topic, but I just have to say it. I'm starting to feel sorry for Hasbro. Not in terms of possible financial loss or anything, but because cool little surprises like this never end up being a surprise at all thanks to hijacked items straight from the factories showing up on eBay months in advance. I don't know about anyone else, but it takes a lot of wind out of the sails when it comes to grand unveilings at things like Toy Fair or BotCon. And it's been like this for years, gradually getting worse by the day. I just have to wonder how much more blown away we'd all be when things like BotCon happen and we haven't already seen 80%-90% of what's in the pipeline thanks to eBay scalpers, leaked prototype pics, etc. We're now at the point where people are doing full reviews of figures we shouldn't even technically know about yet, let alone be able to buy 6-8 months in advance, and imo, that kind of sucks. Just sayin'. Sorry to sidetrack the thread.
Many have asked the same thing. I personally would have loved to have seen a G1 remake sans keychain and attachment in this package.
yeah, seems like this is begging to have G1 Bee in it, but i suppose that's what "classics" 'Bee is ~ should have gone with the Henkai deco though (which is more G1ish) seeing them really illustrates everything i hate about animated though, the size of his head makes me a sad sad panda.
Really nice! I already have Classics BB and am just about to buy Henkai BB... I'll have to think about this one. Any idea on the MSRP? $24.99-$29.99? If it's $19.99, definitely.
Indeed. I want two out of three, and I haven't opened my premium Bee yet... If my area wasn't so jacked for exclusives, I'd be really excited, nonetheless, I'll be keeping an eye out. An extra Premium BB won't hurt anything.
Kinda glad I've cooled to all the movie stuff recently after seeing this. I like the new deco on classics BB, I want the animated figure and the premium movie figure is like a bonus. I'll probably get this when it comes out. Maybe I should look into kitbashing the first classic bumblebee in to Bumper or something.
I don't get surprised anymore. I think this site reported this set a few days back. I have to agree to an extent...there was a certain magic in going to Wal-Mart or Target and seeing what new figures there were without the benefit of already knowing. It was that way for me up until Armada. Since then, I've kept up with stuff online, so that I could figure out how much I was going to buy. But yes, some of the magic is gone. On the other hand, seeing these images (even the eBay auctions) does have the effect of whipping me up into a fever pitch. I can barely wait until the new Universe toys come out. I'm not fool enough to lay down hundreds of dollars for pre-release plastic crack, but by the time they hit store shelves I'm going to be there snatching and grabbing and getting my fix of Classics!
