First off, xenoblade was excellent. Second, hell yeah I'm getting Last Story- if not just for the Nobuo Uematsue soundtrack alone.

Aw shoot. That means my Amazon PO is going to be coming in. Yet another game for a system I rarely turn on >.<

If nothing else, I've heard that the Last Story is much shorter than Xenoblade so maybe I can knock it out in short order.

Yeah, it's supposed to be around 30 hours long.

It's pretty fun. The story thus far (I'm about 8? 9? chapters in?) seems pretty rote, but the voice acting is good and the characters are fairly charming. Syrenne is a real hoot, in particular.

All of the British voice acting is making me think that I need to go back and continue working on Xenoblade Chronicles, though :lol

Picked it up last week. I generally enjoy anything Sakaguchi pumps out, and this game is no exception. Syrenne is hilarious. :lol

I wrote a review for the game on my blog. There's so many reasons to love this RPG, Syrenne being an important one, but aside from that, it breaks the mold in a lot of RPG cliches (your mileage may vary on the love story, but I enjoyed it, and the late-game romance pulled at me a bit) and does so much cool, fresh stuff while also being so very JRPGish at the same time. A gem of a game, and a nice, final note for the Wii.

Well, I have it, and I am looking forward to playing it... but it came out at a bad time. I have to pace myself and it's backlogged behind a few other games, and I put over 100 hours into xenoblade and need to wait a little to dive back into an RPG.

This might be the perfect length for you then, I logged 27 hours going out of my way to complete as much as possible, and it plays more like a Zelda title than anything else.
