Update: I FINALLY got Steelbane's joints fixed!

I tried 1 coat of floor polish on all his joints: Not good enough.

Tried a second coat on all his joints: STILL not good enough.

Took a super drastic approach, placed a coat of super glue on all his ball joints, waited for it to dry, then took a dremel drill, shaved off some of the super glue on each joint (so it wasn't too tight when re-inserted into the ball socket), gave each joint a black and grey ink detailing (to cover the white areas where the super glue was visible) and.......FINALLY...he's solid.

The amount of work it took to get Steelbane's joints to a reasonable point was BULLSHIT. I shouldn't have had to crack out my super glue and dremel drill, holy shit dude- that was ridiculous....

But he's stable now- stable stable stable.

The sides of his chest fold out to form his thighs in dragon mode.

Great figure: awesome color scheme, takes some tweaking to get him to pose properly, strong knight motif, tight elbow and knee joints, slightly top/back heavy--falls over easily

It does fall over easily- they made his wings too much for him to handle!

Still beautiful though- his dragon mode has actually grown on me since I got him- I love it now- every time I place him in a flying pose on my SHF stand I get bumps. ^_^

Good Lord that's a lot of work for tight joints! Unfortunately I watched Emgo's review and he's having the same issue. That to me is way worse than the subpar dragon mode.

Optibotimus mentions loose joints in his review too unfortunately.

Despite the insanely loose connections (oddly not as loose as my TR Kup's hips) I still really enjoy this figure.

The bot mode evokes that "Dark Souls" look, very imposing and powerful, while adding neat details. The Dragon mode is fun, wonky and overall incomplete, but for me its nice to have something different to mess with.

He makes for great posing in bot mode with his dragon wings being use as either a sick armored cape, or blatantly using the whole winged armor look.

This is a figure where a 3rd party company would win me over with a sword/shield set to add.

Dang. I like the look of the bot mode, the transforamtion has some intersting bots, but the sheer number of flaws with the dragon mode is just so disappointing, never mind the QC issues reviewers have noted.

After seeing him in the International Trailer (5.17.17), I decided it was time to remove his wings

You clipped his wings! What does the back look like without them? I love the idea of them becoming a cape like strafe, but that doesn't really match his on-screen look from what we've seen so far.

Great bot mode. Dragon mode looks more like "Man what a fantastic robot mode! Oh, shit, I forgot to make it transform into something..."

Quick question, I have this figure and the rubber part of his wings are bent. How would I straighten them out, especially since they have paint on them?

the robot mode looks good in static shots but as a toy that thing makes me want to run and grab my G1 hun-guur so I can remind myself that toys used to be solid and fun pieces of engineering. What a piece of over complicated trash.

That dragon head looks terrible.. I wish they had designed a better looking head.. I mean, movie-verse dragons should be awesome, not goofy.

And that dragon mode, WOW. Just wow.

I like the head, but he has a f***ing FOOT sticking out of his neck! That is pretty unforgivable.

Ohhh, yeah, an escaflowne custom! That, I would like to see!

I'm not a movie guy at all, but I do like the look of the 'knights' - to the degree I'd be tempted to pick up skullitron. Hopefully the qc probs with the mold for steelbane are fixed for him though.
