Here's Steelbane and Drift at the Forbidden Planet in Central London yesterday (United Kingdom Transformers Sightings) if that's any help!

Forbidden Planet only sells imports, so those would not count as "proper" UK retail releases.

Only from Argos. But then they only had Bumblebee and Grimlock from wave 1.

Wave 2 deluxes were also spotted in Canada, Quebec. Saw them at Wal-Mart last week.

... it used to be in the past, but looking at the photos posted by Neuta, that's definitely packaging intended for the European market, so I stand corrected!

Basically, checking the packaging for the usual signs (European packaging usually has a simple "8+" or "5+" age recommendation label and an EAN barcode starting with "501099", whereas non-European packaging these days has an "Age Edad Idate 8+" or "Age Edad Idate 5+" age recommendation label and a UPC barcode starting with "630509") should tell you whether what you're seeing is imported stock or European stock.

There's two chains as I understand it. One stocks imports, the other, domestic releases. The style of packaging would be evidence.

That said, they're a specialist retailer, so not entirely the same as a full-on wider retail sighting.

Steelbane looks like a beast version of Vector Prime. That makes me want him bad.
