^^^ What do you mean? He liked the original series, so he thinks he'll like the new series. What's there not to get?

 

Well off the top of my head, they also left the story of Iro and the Dragon and the conflict between the Water Avatar and the Facestealer untold. I know there were a few more hinted at but never detailed stories of the world, which means there are plenty of ways to expand the stories of the world of Avatar.

 

Alright as an ATLA superfan i thought i should post here with everything i know about a new series. IN BULLETB
POINT FORM

1/there is a new series being made called Avatar Legend of korra probably likely that korra is the avatar after Aang.
2/on some fansites peoplehave looked at the patents for legend of korra and found out it says live action.

3/mike and bryan(creators of ATLA) are making a new series set 100 years after the end of ATLA it is unknown if it is Avatar the legend of korra

4/At the signing by mike and bryan of the art of avatar the last airbender someone asked about the legend of korra they said, how did you know about that,the person replied a magical place called the internet,mike and bryan said there would be news SOON possibly meaning comic con.

I don't know about live-action... I'd much rather have an animated series, personally.
But if they can tell a strong story and have great characters as they've done before, then I'll still definitely watch it.

 

That's a rumor. But all in all, this will be great! Wonder if it'll be connected to M. Night's in any way?

 

No its not a site i go on has contacts working on it ,and there info is always right ,for example they broke the news on all the season 3 episode titles months before they came out.

So there is nothing on the San Diego Comic Con schedule about Avatar Legend Of Korra.

Mike and Bryan said we would hear news soon,so unless they have a secret panel,or just randomly announce it,i dont know what they were talking about.

THey could have meant one of the other Comic Cons.

 

Maybe it'll be announced at the Nickelodeon panel

 

I guess that the best we can hope for,*crosses fingers for Korra News*

 

They should have a series based on the stories from another Airbender, like show Avatar Rokus story.

 

THey Basically showed Rokus story in the episode 306 "The avatar and the firelord" I know you mean many episodes about Roku but he said himself his first real test was telling sozin not to go on with his plan,his whole story was he learned all the elements ,got married ,told sozin not to go ahead,threathened sozin when he occupied Earth kingdom territory ,lived for 25 years on his island then died when sozin left him there after fighting the volcano.

His story isnt interesting enough to get its own series,his sory was summed up in that episode.

And Avatar Roku is from the Fire Nation so he is a firebender(i know he is the avatar and therefore an Airbender) but aang is called an Airbender all the time even though he knew more elements.

 

I don't care if the new series is with the same characters older or with a new cast set in the future. I'm sure it will be awesome.

If it's set 100 years in the future with a new Avatar, that means Aang didn't live past 100 old years.

like to see a new avatar but with ang as his teacher or has a good role in the story.

 

The only way i can see this happening if Aang is a spirit like Roku was to him.Its set 100 Years after ATLA
