They do. They're pretty neat, I've got about 20 of 'em. Most of this thread is about them.

Not Trypticon specifically, but I seem to recall a Gigastorm KO.

Hi! Yes, I also had the space shuttle "Mach". They would combine in two diferent ways: Machtackle or Tacklemach.

Also, they were part of the gestalt Landcross. See the pics here: CINE31-Collector's Edition: Tackle - knock-off vintage

Unfortunatly, today I only have Tackle and Mach's wings, that form Landcross chestplate :(

no! i've never had a KO of Trypticon, which is the reason as to why I asked if one ever existed, however.....i did used to own Grandstands KO of Omega Supreme.

btw...has anyone seen any KOs of the PRID toyline yet? if there are any.

Omegatron wasn't a KO, it was a licenced toy from Takara, like a lot of the Grandstand Convertors line was.

Do you mean a repaint? Would duplicate not mean a 2nd of an original figure??

This seems like a potentially dangerous addiction... :p

Wasn't Omegatron actually released BEFORE Omega Supreme? I have this vague memory of seeing one on shelves before the Transformers version, but I'm not sure.

Either way, not a KO... that would be like calling Jetfire a Macross KO. Hmm... well, maybe he is, sort of. :)

After getting the KO mini Landcross... I must say I'd love to see a 3rd party take on them. Namely if they can manage to pull off all modes without excess kibble lying around like the more recent Energon combiner figures. (Imagine if they even *tried* to make a Gestalt out of them... blech!)

17-1 is sheer beauty. I'd never seen that before, but now, I want one. It's everything that is great about random KOs.

a lot of the G1 characters were released before the official TF toyline, under Diaclone or Microman. even Optimus Prime!

Well, yeah... in Japan. Occasionally we got them in North America and elsewhere (I know there was a european release for Diaclone before G1). Heck, my first Go-Bot (Tank) was actually released before Tonka got the licence, under the name "Robot Machine Men".

But what I meant was just that Omegatron was released outside of Japan under that name before his mold was used for Omega Supreme (which was pretty early)... I think. But someone can correct me on that.
