Oh snap - THAT"S THEM!!!
I, too, got the Multicolored Constructicons individually, but mine were from Walgreens & were about $3 each.
I posted a whole thing on them here.
& the quality isn't typical for KOs, as they're pretty good. My ONLY concern is how Scrapper attaches. I've had it for years, & disassembled them a few times, & so far that concern seems unfounded.
Don't think Walgreen has Them anymore though.
Yeah. As the original post clearly stated, I found them, one or 2 at a time (at various Walgreens), around 2000.
I been searching family dollars and big lots but those sets are not there either but some people have said they seen family dollar with them
SirToys, why won't you ship to India??
right to left on micromasters: Seawatch from the rescue patrol, Rodimus from star convoy, and no idea on the third one, doesn't seem to be a micromaster to me
If you have a Tuesday Morning near where you live you could check that out, they usually have a ton of KO's in their stores, particularly combiner giftset KO's that go for like, eight bucks.
Not quite knockoff...bot..
Interesting enough to post here, I think.
The less interesting part is the clearly ripped off font for the logo.
The odd part, the names of the toys are "Tracker" (nothing there) Menasor, and Defensor.
Random note, the side of the box says "Bellicose Vanguard Superhero Absorbing Top Quality."
is there a knock off of Fort Max?
+ i used to have the Omega Supreme knock off
Yeah there's a Fort Max KO he's like four inches tall.
I accidentally got a Rodimus? Nice, he's going to be the redheaded step child of my Rodimus collection then.
The one on the far right (I assume you meant left to right, or "their right to left") transforms into a B-2 bomber, or something similar. Can't find anyone who looks like that in the wikis either.
They are copies of Oxford Block sets. Oxford makes Kre-O.
Hmmm I have one down street from my work? Is it called Tuesday morning new deal new day
Yep! That's the one! You can also use the store locator on their site to see if you have one near you. Tuesday Morning - Famous name brands at legendary savings
haha seeing all of these makes me want to buy a few. Saw some at big lots the other day. Optimus prime head on a body I've never seen before. the vehicle ended at somewhat of a point.
would be great for my first repaint attempt i guess
I never even noticed a business by that name an I drive by there all the time. Hmmm ill check tomorrow
Here are 2 versions of the "mini Max" as some people call them.
The one on the left is the original version done in the 90s. The one on he right is the current version.
The original version came with guns and the Spike headmaster. Although he was better compatible with micromasters, the detail lacked some and there are oversized posts in his lower legs that interfered with it fully closing with the upper legs.
The newer versiion, while much better detailed, is slightly smaller and his head does not transform. His detail includes opening forearm guns and opening doors/ramps, neither of which are in the firt version. Does not come with hand weapons.
Unfortunately, while transforming him, my first mini max shattered in his tower/midsection connector. Somehow, I have a feeling that keeping him in storage in the garage made his parts brittle, along with age. It is why I keep these pics of him in memory
For my review of Tracker, see here:
Yeah it has some pretty neat stuff at times, I picked up a Energon Unicron from there for around ten bucks a few years back.
Separate names with a comma.
