Oh yeah, I remember when you posted these VERY well.

I believe the Korean ones are the full-on-super-sized ones, so yeah, you should have a giant.

You're not wrong, but it's more the cast that TR Blurr is just not that big. From these images, the sizing is consistent with my TR Blurr next to the Hasbro CW molds. That Streetwise mold is pretty beefy (by current deluxe standards) especially.

Which, from a North American collector's perspective, makes this set sort of redundant. It's the same as the domestically-available version of the Protectobots and Combaticons. No scale differences, no unusual colours... they didn't even opt for a Takara deco. At least this offers an opportunity for a cheap Groove for people who missed the exclusive.

It's not the quality of the connection on the motorbike leg (or the motorbike arm on the white combiner)... I just think the motorbikes make awful-looking limbs, and ruin the overall impact of the combiner for me. Other than that, I might have gotten one of these sets before now, because I dig the rest of the figures (even with some of the weird design choices).

I like that green on Dead End, but the paint apps don't look that great. Still tempting...

Well hell, I'm sold all over again. I'm actually pretty glad these aren't a different size.

Anything loose or weird about these CCB guys? I assume no die cast also?

Paul, I'm having trouble buying stuff from your site. It seems PayPal is up to its old tricks again and refusing to allow me to pay with credit card, without an account again. Could you help, please? I've left a message at your site about it.

Hmm, I hope these 1-to-1 CWs do well. It'd be funny and awesome if they put out the Prowl bod in Bluestreak colours, or at least a non-exorbitant Brake-Neck/Wildrider so I can kitbash a "stunt" version of my prior custom (which was made with a Prowl & Dead End, thus it's more heavily painted and prone to wear with play, er...use).

Oh boy, just thought... What if they started doing the high priced sets like megatronia and baldigus, or the tfcc versions?

Who? Wei Jiang? I personally think that those will look even better than what takara did. Although the scramble city type molds from CW are very similar and therefore not that exciting by themselves (unlike TR).

You know all these years and I never really appreciated the scramble city module. I always thought that Predaking and Devastator were better because they were more solid due to their engineering. I also didnt swap around limbs cause I considered it lame. Fast forward so many years latter, three junkers and a KO in hand, days upon days of casting, painting and restoration work and customising and I will have my first custom combiner by mixing the combaticons and aeriabots together.

If you don't already have the sets, and the quality is good, these are a great deal. I'm curious what the quality report will be on these guys. They look good.

See, that's what I'd LIKE to see... but often a lot of KO companies seem to prioritize imitating the standard version of these products, and rarely the exclusives and variants... or obvious repaints we never got, like Bluestreak or a Sideswipe, or a Ruckus version of Offroad, or Pyro from Hotspot...

I would buy this if the box had the same text as the Taobao listing.

I know there is also a smaller version of this same Fire combiner. Do you have any info on the quality of that guy? I was thinking that perhaps the lighter weight might make it slightly less wobbly, but I also see some proportional differences in joints and stuff.

I don't want one and I don't like the way Paypal appears to coerce (me) into joining, either. I did join once, but was unhappy with their automated phone system, as I had to wait ages to get through to someone. Also, Paypal isn't that popular outside the US.

    - Guess Which Digital Payment Method Is Most Popular (Hint: It Isn't PayPal)

    - PayPal faces many challenges in Japan

For me, if the option is given for something, and then taken away, with coercion used to elicit making an account, I'm LESS likely to join.

I just read both links, and I don't see the downside of using PayPal (owned by eBay) in Japan?

It basically states Japan just isn't in "the know". PayPal is the most secure payment method to date being as it doesn't compromise personal/financial information between the buyer and seller.

I would much rather use PayPal than directly linking a credit card to make a payment for anything... Digital fingerprints and all that.

As for phone time with PayPal; I have never had to use it, as an electronical communication over a descrepency has never gone beyond 72 hours before being rectified.

Sounds like you've had some bad luck, bro.

The main question I am interested is - what coercion has taken place between PayPal and you? I love a good conspiracy story, so know I am not baiting you - generally interested.

As for knockoffs, green oversized deadend is mine. :ev:
